There are two main ways to get to Soldotna from out of state:
Option 1: (Recommended) Fly Into Ted Stevens International Airport in Anchorage, rent a car, and drive South to Soldotna.
The drive is approximately 2.5-3 hrs long along a scenic coastal highway and through a mountain pass. If driving, we recommend stoping at the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center.

A good place to fuel up with gas along the drive is the Speedway Express in Girdwood. There are also other options for gas as you get closer to Soldotna.
Option 2: Fly into Ted Stevens International Airport and then book a flight with either Kenai Aviation or Grant Aviation and fly into the Kenai Airport. Rent a car in Kenai.

Packing Tips
Plan to dress in layers: A t-shirt with a long-sleeved shirt, sweatshirt, raincoat/windbreaker. Rain pants that go over shorts or pants are a good idea.
