We met on Hinge in 2022, drawn together by shared curiosity and a spark that came to life in our very first conversation. Music was the bridge—our early talks filled with favorite artists, songs, and playlists that let us glimpse each other’s hearts. But it didn’t take long to see that what we were building went far beyond any shared taste.Our first date at Mandarin Taste sealed the feeling. Between bites of orange chicken and soft laughter, something clicked. It wasn’t just easy—it was grounding. We left that evening feeling like something had begun, something quiet and real.Over time, we grew closer through everyday moments and unexpected milestones. From spontaneous weekend outings to comforting each other through late-night worries, the thread between us only strengthened. One of the most beautiful parts of our journey was finding out how deeply we could rely on each other—through the good, the hard, and everything in between.Somewhere along the way, we both realized: this person feels like home. Not just safe or familiar—but the kind of home where you can fully be yourself and be loved for it. Then came the moment we’ll always cherish: a proposal surrounded by the timeless charm of the Philbrook Museum of Art . Surrounded by art, nature, and a sense of serenity, we promised forever.Now, we’re here—celebrating the beginning of our forever. We feel so lucky to have found something so true, and we can’t wait to continue writing this love story together.

This is a fantastic place to walk and explore! It is not far from the Philbrook area, only 6 minutes (1.8 miles) from the Philbrook. There is a small coffee shop in the main building and a Koi pond just outside the main building. This is also right along the city's Riverside trails.

Gathering Place

This one is a bit further from the general Philbrook area; it is a 25 minute drive from the Philbrook. (10.5 miles) It is included in the list because it is the restaurant where we had our first date! We still go on anniversaries or anytime we are in the area!

Mandarin Taste

Shop at Tulsa Premium Outlets. This shopping center is 21 minutes (9.4 miles) from Philbrook Museum of Art.

You will see this the day of the wedding! We will not have access to all galleries or art during the wedding and encourage you to go back and explore all the Philbrook has to offer! We got engaged at the Philbrook and have spent every anniversary celebration there. It holds a special place in our hearts!
