This story is going to be the most romantic one I will ever tell. We woke up the morning of April 8th, ate breakfast and got the day started. I had to make a trip to work to pick up some medication for our dog, Levi. I decided to bring him with me to get him out of the house as well. As I left the house Cody had mentioned that he would probably be at his mom's house helping her with somethings. We said our goodbyes and I was off. Once I made it back home, I noticed there was something in my parking spot, but I couldn't tell what it was because of the way the sunlight was hitting it. Not thinking anything of it, I let the dog inside, give him his medication, make myself lunch, then get comfortable on the couch. About 30 minutes later Cody comes home. We walks up to me and says "What are you doing?!". At first I think he's upset that I ate without him. Then he grabs my hand and pulls me off the couch and leads me to the thing that blocked my parking spot. He had set up a table with a little note and a rose. The note was the start to a scavenger hunt... And I completely missed it! (LOL) First I'm led to my parent's house, then back to our house, then I have to figure out some clues around the house. Eventually the scavenger hunt leads me to each of our animals. Each ones has a clue taped to their collar. Then I end up at the desktop computer, where Cody had MADE me a Mario themed game, with my avatar from another game I play!! At the end of the game, there is a code I need to decipher. This is where the clues taped to the animals come in. The code ends up reading "rock". We have this very cool slab of mountain in our backyard, so I instantly knew that's what he meant. As I walk to the rock, I see these flowers stuck in the ground creating a little path, eventually creating a circle. I get to the end and there is Cody waiting for me! I couldn't stop smiling and was fighting tears the moment I saw him. He was so creative with the proposal, and I couldn't have dreamt of anything better.
