Our Wedding

This&nbsp;story&nbsp;is&nbsp;going&nbsp;to&nbsp;be&nbsp;the&nbsp;most&nbsp;romantic&nbsp;one&nbsp;I&nbsp;will&nbsp;ever&nbsp;tell.&nbsp;We&nbsp;woke&nbsp;up&nbsp;the&nbsp;morning&nbsp;of&nbsp;April&nbsp;8th,&nbsp;ate&nbsp;breakfast&nbsp;and&nbsp;got&nbsp;the&nbsp;day&nbsp;started.&nbsp;I&nbsp;had&nbsp;to&nbsp;make&nbsp;a&nbsp;trip&nbsp;to&nbsp;work&nbsp;to&nbsp;pick&nbsp;up&nbsp;some&nbsp;medication&nbsp;for&nbsp;our&nbsp;dog,&nbsp;Levi.&nbsp;I&nbsp;decided&nbsp;to&nbsp;bring&nbsp;him&nbsp;with&nbsp;me&nbsp;to&nbsp;get&nbsp;him&nbsp;out&nbsp;of&nbsp;the&nbsp;house&nbsp;as&nbsp;well.&nbsp;As&nbsp;I&nbsp;left&nbsp;the&nbsp;house&nbsp;Cody&nbsp;had&nbsp;mentioned&nbsp;that&nbsp;he&nbsp;would&nbsp;probably&nbsp;be&nbsp;at&nbsp;his&nbsp;mom's&nbsp;house&nbsp;helping&nbsp;her&nbsp;with&nbsp;somethings.&nbsp;We&nbsp;said&nbsp;our&nbsp;goodbyes&nbsp;and&nbsp;I&nbsp;was&nbsp;off.&nbsp;Once&nbsp;I&nbsp;made&nbsp;it&nbsp;back&nbsp;home,&nbsp;I&nbsp;noticed&nbsp;there&nbsp;was&nbsp;something&nbsp;in&nbsp;my&nbsp;parking&nbsp;spot,&nbsp;but&nbsp;I&nbsp;couldn't&nbsp;tell&nbsp;what&nbsp;it&nbsp;was&nbsp;because&nbsp;of&nbsp;the&nbsp;way&nbsp;the&nbsp;sunlight&nbsp;was&nbsp;hitting&nbsp;it.&nbsp;Not&nbsp;thinking&nbsp;anything&nbsp;of&nbsp;it,&nbsp;I&nbsp;let&nbsp;the&nbsp;dog&nbsp;inside,&nbsp;give&nbsp;him&nbsp;his&nbsp;medication,&nbsp;make&nbsp;myself&nbsp;lunch,&nbsp;then&nbsp;get&nbsp;comfortable&nbsp;on&nbsp;the&nbsp;couch.&nbsp;About&nbsp;30&nbsp;minutes&nbsp;later&nbsp;Cody&nbsp;comes&nbsp;home.&nbsp;We&nbsp;walks&nbsp;up&nbsp;to&nbsp;me&nbsp;and&nbsp;says&nbsp;"What&nbsp;are&nbsp;you&nbsp;doing?!".&nbsp;At&nbsp;first&nbsp;I&nbsp;think&nbsp;he's&nbsp;upset&nbsp;that&nbsp;I&nbsp;ate&nbsp;without&nbsp;him.&nbsp;Then&nbsp;he&nbsp;grabs&nbsp;my&nbsp;hand&nbsp;and&nbsp;pulls&nbsp;me&nbsp;off&nbsp;the&nbsp;couch&nbsp;and&nbsp;leads&nbsp;me&nbsp;to&nbsp;the&nbsp;thing&nbsp;that&nbsp;blocked&nbsp;my&nbsp;parking&nbsp;spot.&nbsp;He&nbsp;had&nbsp;set&nbsp;up&nbsp;a&nbsp;table&nbsp;with&nbsp;a&nbsp;little&nbsp;note&nbsp;and&nbsp;a&nbsp;rose.&nbsp;The&nbsp;note&nbsp;was&nbsp;the&nbsp;start&nbsp;to&nbsp;a&nbsp;scavenger&nbsp;hunt...&nbsp;And&nbsp;I&nbsp;completely&nbsp;missed&nbsp;it!&nbsp;(LOL)&nbsp;First&nbsp;I'm&nbsp;led&nbsp;to&nbsp;my&nbsp;parent's&nbsp;house,&nbsp;then&nbsp;back&nbsp;to&nbsp;our&nbsp;house,&nbsp;then&nbsp;I&nbsp;have&nbsp;to&nbsp;figure&nbsp;out&nbsp;some&nbsp;clues&nbsp;around&nbsp;the&nbsp;house.&nbsp;Eventually&nbsp;the&nbsp;scavenger&nbsp;hunt&nbsp;leads&nbsp;me&nbsp;to&nbsp;each&nbsp;of&nbsp;our&nbsp;animals.&nbsp;Each&nbsp;ones&nbsp;has&nbsp;a&nbsp;clue&nbsp;taped&nbsp;to&nbsp;their&nbsp;collar.&nbsp;&nbsp;Then&nbsp;I&nbsp;end&nbsp;up&nbsp;at&nbsp;the&nbsp;desktop&nbsp;computer,&nbsp;where&nbsp;Cody&nbsp;had&nbsp;MADE&nbsp;me&nbsp;a&nbsp;Mario&nbsp;themed&nbsp;game,&nbsp;with&nbsp;my&nbsp;avatar&nbsp;from&nbsp;another&nbsp;game&nbsp;I&nbsp;play!!&nbsp;At&nbsp;the&nbsp;end&nbsp;of&nbsp;the&nbsp;game,&nbsp;there&nbsp;is&nbsp;a&nbsp;code&nbsp;I&nbsp;need&nbsp;to&nbsp;decipher.&nbsp;This&nbsp;is&nbsp;where&nbsp;the&nbsp;clues&nbsp;taped&nbsp;to&nbsp;the&nbsp;animals&nbsp;come&nbsp;in.&nbsp;The&nbsp;code&nbsp;ends&nbsp;up&nbsp;reading&nbsp;"rock".&nbsp;We&nbsp;have&nbsp;this&nbsp;very&nbsp;cool&nbsp;slab&nbsp;of&nbsp;mountain&nbsp;in&nbsp;our&nbsp;backyard,&nbsp;so&nbsp;I&nbsp;instantly&nbsp;knew&nbsp;that's&nbsp;what&nbsp;he&nbsp;meant.&nbsp;As&nbsp;I&nbsp;walk&nbsp;to&nbsp;the&nbsp;rock,&nbsp;I&nbsp;see&nbsp;these&nbsp;flowers&nbsp;stuck&nbsp;in&nbsp;the&nbsp;ground&nbsp;creating&nbsp;a&nbsp;little&nbsp;path,&nbsp;eventually&nbsp;creating&nbsp;a&nbsp;circle.&nbsp;I&nbsp;get&nbsp;to&nbsp;the&nbsp;end&nbsp;and&nbsp;there&nbsp;is&nbsp;Cody&nbsp;waiting&nbsp;for&nbsp;me!&nbsp;I&nbsp;couldn't&nbsp;stop&nbsp;smiling&nbsp;and&nbsp;was&nbsp;fighting&nbsp;tears&nbsp;the&nbsp;moment&nbsp;I&nbsp;saw&nbsp;him.&nbsp;He&nbsp;was&nbsp;so&nbsp;creative&nbsp;with&nbsp;the&nbsp;proposal,&nbsp;and&nbsp;I&nbsp;couldn't&nbsp;have&nbsp;dreamt&nbsp;of&nbsp;anything&nbsp;better.

Lilly is my little sister. Growing up, our relationship wasn't the strongest. Over time, we have formed a better bond and I can't wait to see what our relationship will look like as the years pass.

Colin is my brother. I've had to put up with him for years. To get back at him he has to make a speech at my wedding. He has  guided me in life that has lead me to where I am today.

David has been my best friend since high school.  We have been through a lot together. We've done paintball tournaments, Mud runs, and concert all-nighters together. He is the friend everyone wishes for.  I am truly grateful to have him as my best friend and beside me on my wedding day.

Steven is my wise old friend that I can always turn to.  He has put up with me slowing him down on our long runs and talking his ear off with my game ideas. He has  helped me compose myself when I am anxious or guide me when I am unsure. I will be glad to have him by my side that the wedding.

Jon is the younger brother I never had.  He is one of the smartest guys I've ever known and the only person I've ever bodyslammed through a table. He is a loyal friend and always a joy to be around. I am proud to have him as a groomsman at my wedding.
