Fort Lauderdale and Miami are also options. Please keep in mind you will need to rent a car and the drive is approximately 3 hours to Key West. Fort Myers also is another option. The Key West Express ferry will take you from Fort Myers to Key West in approximately 3.5 hours.

No, unless you plan on visiting other locations in The Keys. Bikes, golf carts, and your legs are the most efficient way to get around! Key West is only about 4 miles long and a mile wide. Parking is also very limited.
