Justin & Emily met 8 years ago through mutual friends (Jessica & Sean Wooding). Although belonging in overlapping friend groups, no connection was ever made as they lived in different parts of Indy.

Fast forward… Despite the difficulties of gathering with friends during the pandemic, Emily threw a housewarming party after moving to Fishers where they reconnected in a smaller group setting in early 2021.

In March of 2022, Emily & Justin both went to watch March Madness at The Wooding’s where they struck up more conversation. Justin (being master of the slow-play) waited another month before sending Emily a message for her birthday, and they ended up messaging and talking all day and had their first date the next night. Exactly one year later, Justin surprised Emily by proposing in downtown Indianapolis as they were celebrating her birthday and their first anniversary!

Present day... Emily & Justin have bought a house and moved to Tipton, IN (an hour north of Indy), where they reside with their 2 pups (Tilly, 8yr & Doc, 1.5yr). They are looking forward to celebrating this next chapter of their life with friends and family!
