Getting to Banchory

Train - Aim for Aberdeen train station which is connected to Union Square Shopping Centre in central Aberdeen. We recommend getting a taxi from here to Banchory.

Bus - From Union Square Bus Station situated adjacent to the train station, the route 201 to Braemar will take you to Banchory - get off at Dee Street, Banchory. Banchory Lodge is a short walk from here.

Plane - If flying, we recommend that you arrive into Aberdeen International Airport and then get a taxi from the Airport to Banchory. The journey from the airport to Banchory is around 30 minutes.

Driving - Aberdeen can be accessed through the A90 Northbound from Perth. For Banchory follow signs for A93 Braemar which goes through Banchory.

Getting to the Venue

As the venue is rural, if you are not staying within walking distance, we strongly recommend booking taxis (to and from) the venue in advance.

Please allow plenty of time to get to the venue, aiming to arrive at 1:30pm for the ceremony to begin at Banchory Lodge Hotel at 2pm.

If you are driving, free onsite parking is situated at the front of the hotel. Please ensure you have a designated driver as drink driving laws in Scotland are zero tolerance!
