Drive the Blue Ridge Parkway
Head south toward Asheville and to the Linn Cove Viaduct MP (mile post) 248. You can also keep going to Asheville and tour the Biltmore Estates.
Hike along the Parkway
Beacon Heights (MP 305) – great gorge views only 1 mile long
Rough Ridge (MP 302) – great views
Linville Falls (MP 316 – easy and pretty
Moses Cone Manor (MP 294) -easy carriage trails or just enjoy the Manor and the view
Price Lake (MP 297)-picnic area (or just south is Julian Price Lake)
Visit Grandfather Mountain
It has great views from the top and is home to the famous Mile-High Swinging Bridge It’s a short drive on 221 off the Blue Ridge Parkway. There’s a museum, gift shop, and snack bar. You can also find some very challenging hikes here.
Check Out The Blowing Rock
Enjoy amazing views with no need to hike.
Go Shopping
Check out Main Street in Blowing Rock for some cute, local shops, head to Boone and shop along King street, or hit up the Shoppes on the Parkway on 321 in Blowing Rock

Unfortunately, The Inn at Crestwood is not serving breakfast at this time. There is coffee in the room, and we will bring a bag of breakfast bites around for Monday morning.
