What's the dress code?
Garden Party.
We want all our guests to be comfortable and it could be quite warm in June so we'd recommed light and airy clothing.
We'd love to see you in somthing dressy but not too formal so, guys, go ahead and wear some smart shorts if you want. Ladies, feel free to leave the hats and fascinators at home, we ay* that posh! Be mindful there's lots of grass (it is a forest after all) so just be careful with heels. There's a cloak room in the barn if you'd like to walk over in flats/trainers and switch into heels for the ceremony and reception. Smart pumps/trainers welcome and encouraged so you can dance all night long.
For obvious reasons, please steer clear of white!
* 'aren't' for the non-yam-yams
Can I bring a plus one?
Unfortunately we cannot accommodate additional guests. Your invitations and RSVP link are made out to named individuals so please do double check if you're unsure.
Are children invited?
We're very sorry but we're keeping the wedding weekend an adult only event, except for children in the Wedding Party. Breastfeeding babies are very much welcome.
Should I bring a card and/or gift?
We respectfully ask that you leave cards and gifts in the UK as we would hate for anything to be misplaced or damaged in suitcases etc. Hopefully this will also give you one less thing to think about.
You are more than welcome to shower us in cash-filled cards and lavish gifts once we're home! Only joking; we're very fortunate that we have everything we need for our home already and we're extremely grateful that you're making the journey to Sweden to celebrate with us. That being said, if you would like to get us a gift, we'd really appreciate money towards our honeymoon fund.
When do I need to RSVP by?
Please RSVP by 30th January as we have to confirm numbers with the venue and vendors. If you need longer, please drop us a message.
Can I take photos during the ceremony?
We're having an "unplugged" ceremony so we kindly ask that you take no photos.
Please put your phones on silent and pop them away for the ceremony but we encourage you to take as many photos and/or videos as you want throughout the rest of the day!
Can I post about your wedding on social media?
Of course you can but please don’t post any photos of the bride and groom before they do.
We want to explore Sweden after the wedding- can you advise?
Of course! Get in touch with us and we can have a chat about what we'd recommend to do and where we think is good to stay.
If you have any other questions please drop us a message.
