What is The Peña-Peck House?

The historic Peña-Peck House is one of the 35 remaining First Spanish Period buildings (1565 - 1763) in St. Augustine. Built circa 1750 by order of King Ferdinand VI for Spanish Royal Treasurer Juan Estevan de Peña, this house nestled on the corner of St. George Street and Treasury Street remains much as it was in 1931 when it was left to the city of St. Augustine. The Peña-Peck House is built of native coquina stone and maintained by the city's Woman's Exchange.

What is the Woman's Exchange?

Members of the Woman’s Exchange of St. Augustine work to support The Peña-Peck House Museum and Gift Shop, give hand crafters a venue for selling their unique products, and provide scholarships for women who are returning to school to prepare for new careers. The mission of the Woman’s Exchange is to help women enhance their economic stability, promote local artisans and preserve and show the historic Peña-Peck House. Proceeds from the events held at The Peña-Peck House are used to maintain and preserve the historic museum and fund educational scholarships awarded to women in need with a desire to return to the workforce.

Can I bring a plus one or my children?

We kindly ask that our guests do not bring children or additional guests unless specifically stated on your invitation. If children are invited, your invitation will indicate so. Thank you for your understanding!

What is the dress code?

Suggested attire is semi-formal; suits and cocktail dresses are preferred. We encourage natural colors and florals!

What is the weather like in St. Augustine?

In January, Northern Florida typically sees high temperatures in the mid-60s or low 70s, while low temperatures can dip into the high 40s or 50s. You won’t have to worry about snow down here in St. Augustine, and there’s a good chance you won’t have rain, either. On any given day, there’s only about a 20% chance of precipitation. However, Florida weather is often unpredictable, so plan accordingly!

Can we take photos during the ceremony?

We ask that guests enjoy our ceremony with phones off or on silent. We do encourage you to take photos before and after the ceremony and throughout the reception!

Where are you registered?

We fortunately have everything we need for our home! In lieu of gifts, we are asking for monetary contributions to our honeymoon fund.
