Allie and Emily met in college, and were partners in crime, and roommates. You can always count on Trudge for a good laugh, a listening ear, or an incredible adventure. She truly makes this world a better place.

Sam and Alex met in middle school and quickly became inseparable. Their friendship grew through high school and college, built on laughs and an easy ability to just kick it together. They still visit each other and pick up where they last left off to keep making great memories.

Rachel and Emily met when they were 5 years old, and Emily moved in down the street. It is a friendship that has seen every phase of life, and only grows stronger. Rachel is the first to celebrate both those she loves and strangers alike. Hours talking with her pass like seconds, and she has one of the biggest hearts around.

Sydney and Emily met in college, and lived a short walk away. Sydney's stories will have you laughing until tears run down your face. She never misses a chance to check in on you on your best day or your worst, and loves her people big.

Alex coached Justin at GVSU, but they quickly became good friends beyond the field. Whether they’re enjoying sharing the field at club frisbee, playing board games or yard games, things always get competitive in the best way. Justin brings genuine interest and unwavering support to all his friends’ lives, making him someone everyone is grateful to have around.

Marley and Emily met in college and spent hours in the Snyder Phillips cafeteria together. They were roommates in college, and afterwards in Grand Rapids - Marley also later lived with Alex and Doug, and has been a huge support to us as a couple. She is a caretaker through and through, shows up no matter what, and is incredibly thoughtful.

Doug and Alex first met through Emily and Marley’s friendship, and they immediately bonded over gaming, tech, and board games. Their shared interests turned into an easy, lasting friendship. Alex even lived in Doug’s house for 3.5 years before moving out this past summer, creating plenty of great memories along the way.

Courtney is Alex's sister and Emily's friend. Courtney's love and support could move mountains and we are so blessed to have her as family. She is thoughtful, and pours into others - she has made this stage of life so special for us!

Dominic is Alex’s younger brother, and growing up they spent countless days watching Saturday morning cartoons, playing video games, and running around the yard together. He’s always been up for trying new things and jumping into new experiences.

Aubrey and Emily met in college playing frisbee. Aubrey later moved to Grand Rapids and was Emily's roommate. Aubrey is an adventurer with a heart of gold. You would be lucky to have her in your life, and would find it full of whimsy, thoughtful homemade gifts, and curated inside jokes.

Nick and Alex met growing up, bonding over soccer, baseball, and basketball. They’ve shared countless traveling adventures and always make the most of any opportunity. Nick’s easygoing nature makes him the perfect partner-in-crime for new experiences.

Kaitlyn and Emily met working together in a skilled nursing home. They bonded over their passion for caring for older adults, and finding a way to laugh through the good, bad and the ugly. Kaitlyn is the most intentional, selfless, attentive, and nurturing friend.

Chuck is Emily’s older brother, and he and Alex quickly connected over their shared love of sports. They took a memorable trip to California together, packed with amazing food spots and great sightseeing. He’s always up for an adventure and making lasting memories.
