Our story goes back all the way to elementary school. We first met in fourth grade when the Moores moved to Benton, LA and started at Legacy Elementary. Our classrooms were right across the hall from each other, and we spent the rest of our school years growing up side by side. We had a lot of the same friends, did many of the same activities, and even went to the same church growing up. Our story started long before it ever turned into a love story. We even went to our sophomore homecoming together and stayed friends through the year. Then, during junior year on August 26, 2020 we planned our first date. After a couple of dates, it didn’t end up going anywhere (Emily takes the blame), but thankfully that wasn’t the end:) In December, we decided to try again, which turned out to be the best decision we've ever made. We officially started dating on January 15, 2021, and we’ve been together ever since. It’s been incredible growing up together and now stepping into this next stage of life with the same person who has been there since the very beginning. We’re so thankful for the way everything worked out and for how God has written our story.
