Hannah has always been the dearest friend. I have known her since my freshman year of high school when we had our first interaction in the Theatre School of Dance lobby. Since then, we have grown up together through dance recitals, high school, long distance college friendship, her wedding season, and now onto mine. Hannah even knew me when I was trying to decide if I wanted to go on a date with Rj! One of my favorite things about Hannah (there are many) is how consistent she is. She is always there to offer the most heartfelt advice and comfort. Many of the beautiful parts of the wedding that you will see have been inspired by Hannah and her husband’s special day. I could not be more honored to have her by my side.

I first heard the name Bella Clark right before my freshman year when my uncle told me he met a girl going to Ole Miss and he had given her my number. Little did I know what a blessing was ahead of me! Since I have known her, Bella has been one of the brightest lights in my life and has pointed me to Jesus every day. She is wise beyond her years and is always looking to make you laugh. Bella is the kind of person who will challenge you to be better by the example she sets of faith. It is a joy to be her friend and I could not be more thankful to have her as my maid of honor!

My Ole Miss day one! AC texted me on November 28th of 2021 to see if we would be a good fit as roommates, my texts with Rj that day are filled with quotes like this one: “I really like this girl. We’re the same person except she’s short with brown hair!”. Only if those girls could see us now! Anna Carlisle will always be introduced as my roommate. Someone who I can rely on to love me even when I am the worst version of myself. She is loyal, kind, and oh so fun. I have been so blessed to know and love her.

Rachel is one of the first people I would call if I needed someone to stick up for me. She is the type of person who will defend the people that she loves no matter what. I had the privilege of living with her my junior year and really getting to know her wonderful personality! We instantly meshed and from then on were the best of friends. She does not know a stranger and has the biggest heart when it comes to loving those who really need it. She shows up for her friends and I am so grateful to have her in my corner.

I have had the most fun telling people that I officially get to be Caroline’s sister. I hope she knows how much weight that statement holds for me and what an honor it is to be associated with her for the rest of my life. She is the most thoughtful, bright, and beautiful girl and I look up to her in many ways! Not only is she Rj’s sister, but one of my dearest friends. I am so glad we get to keep growing up together for the rest of our lives.

Gracie has always made sure people feel welcome in the way she naturally invites them in and offers a seat at her table to anyone who wants it. She even let me live at her house in Tuscaloosa this past summer! I am so thankful for her natural friendship and the laughter she offers others. She is strong and steadfast. Her love for Jesus is so apparent and I am so excited to have a front seat to where He leads her in life. We are passionate about many of the same things and I can’t wait for the sweetness that is to come to the rest of our lives as family!

Raelee has seen the complete journey of Rj and I’s relationship! Raelee and I have known each other since middle school and I have had the privilege of being close to her for a long while now. We always find a way to love each other despite one of the main pillars of our relationship being an Ole Miss- LSU rivalry. I really think that’s the true test of friendship, and we pass every time! Raelee is so bright and beautiful. She always reminds me to just show up as I am and I am so grateful for her!

I have had the honor of knowing Callie since freshman year of college and it has been SO FUN! Callie is defined by endless laughter and pure joy in the Lord. My favorite memory with Callie is having a conversation about our faith on the porch at KD, her getting up and coming back with grape juice and crackers from the kitchen so that we could take communion together. She is an encouragement like no one else. It has been such a joy to do this engagement season with her.

Zoe and I have the most fun story! We had honors music class together our freshman year (was way harder than it sounds) and we quickly found out that we had more in common than we thought! I was worried about not knowing anyone on a mission trip I was wanting to sign up for and as I expressed this to her she told me she was signing up for the same one! From then on we were close for the best reasons, our faith in Jesus and sweet shared experiences. It has been the most fun being her friend. Thankfully Zoe is way more musically inclined than I am and she will be playing the violin as I walk down the aisle, a promise I’ve held her to since our sophomore year:)

I met Jo during Rj’s first summer doing orientation. I went to visit him and stayed with Jo in her dorm room! We had never met before and stayed up till about 3am just talking. I knew she would end up being a life long friend! Jo is one of those people who just feels like you’ve known each other your whole life. She is so comforting and it doesn’t matter how many times I’ve seen her in a week, but every time I see that she’s in the room it makes my whole day! She radiates joy and I am so lucky to be her friend!

I met Ryan freshman year of college in our Honors 101 class. I didn’t know many people at Ole Miss and actually got to know him by giving him rides to and from different places on campus, and was really my first real friend at Ole Miss. He is an awesome guy who is easy to go to and helps give great advice when I need it. He is easy-going and always down to do something new, which has been a ton of fun to experience.

Logan and I became friends when I moved to Benton in the 4th grade, and became friends at church. We both really loved playing soccer and got closer over that and started hanging out all the time. He has been there as one of my best friends since we moved here and has always been a great, reliable friend to have in my corner.

I met Butter in the 4th grade as well, where we started playing football together and were able to become really good friends. We played football together our entire lives, and he held for me all throughout high school, where we just got to mess around and hang out during practices and become even better friends. He has always been a calm presence to be around and a great, consistent friend.

Charlie and I met when he moved to Benton in middle school. We didn’t really become close until freshman year of high school when our friend group formed and I started spending a lot of time with him. We played football together all throughout high school, but we really got close through all of the time we spent hanging out at his house, playing ping pong all summer and riding the jetskis. Charlie has been a loyal, caring friend and always enjoys having a good time.

Davis and I both moved to Benton in the fourth grade. We really got to become friends through playing football together and hanging out all of the time growing up. He and I grew up doing a lot of stuff together, especially when it revolved around football, traveling to Texas to play in tournaments or even just messing around throwing the football at our houses. He is a very kind and caring person for his friends and values his friendships deeply.

I met Jakota the summer after my freshman year of college, when we were both orientation leaders at Ole Miss. We hung out in the same friend group all summer which allowed me to become really close with him and gave me one of my best friends in college. He is a very wise and reliable person to have as a friend and is always down for a good talk.

Hudson is just a chill guy who enjoys being around everyone he comes in contact with. I met him through Ole Miss Cru my freshman year, when he had a massive afro of hair, and didn’t even know he was a year ahead of me until like a year later. We have gotten to do a ton of stuff together all throughout college and he has been one of my closest and most consistent friends that I’ve ever had. He cares for the people around him well and makes sure to have good, intentional conversations to really get to know people.

I first met Aidan because a friend of mine in college introduced me to him and said we should hangout so I invited him to come hangout at one of our houses. We hit it off and have been really great friends ever since, and have also gotten to be roommates for the past two years. We’ve watched tons of sports games together and just get to talk about whatever when we hangout. He is extremely intentional in asking about the simple things and keeping strong relationships with the people around him.

Collin and I obviously got to know each other more when I started dating Emily. He is very calm and collected and a fun guy to talk to, especially when I have someone who can help call Emily out when she says something stupid at the dinner table. I am super excited to have him as a future brother-in-law.
