Extend Your Stay

You would like to stay longer? Music to our ears!

Emily and Matt have booked the exclusive resort only for the duration of their wedding weekend. If you would like to stay in Baja longer, they are happy to give you recommendations for extensions in either La Paz or Cabo San Lucas.

Where should we stay in La Paz?

There are many great places to stay in La Paz! A few recommendations are Costa Baja Resort & Spa, La Concha Beach Hotel & Club, and the new Hotel Catedral La Paz. If you are looking for something a little a bit more homey, there are also multiple Airbnb’s and VRBO’s in the area.

What should we do in La Paz?

La Paz is the capital of Baja California Sur. Less touristy than Cabo, La Paz offers a wide range of activities. Not-to-miss include a walk down the Malecon (a walkway by the sea), Balandra Bay, and sportfishing. Most activities and excursions, including snorkeling and sportfishing, can be booked through Tailhunter Sportfishing.

Tailhunter Sportfishing

Having been in the business for almost 30 years, Tailhunter Sportfishing is La Paz’ premier full-service sportfishing and activities outfitter.

Jonathan and Jill are close family friends with Emily and Matt and are available to help guests plan their extended stay in La Paz. Always with a smile and a cerveza, Jonathan and Jill are the resident experts on fishing, snorkeling, scuba diving, food tours, and island excursions. They also own and operate an incredible restaurant right on the Malecon with the best views in town.

Where should we eat in La Paz?

La Paz has some incredible food! A few of the bride and groom’s favorite restaurants include Sorstis Restaurante, Tailhunter Restaurant & Bar, Rancho Viejo, and Tres Virgenes.

Where should we stay in Cabo?

Cabo is home to many beautiful resorts including Esperanza, Auberge Resorts Collection, Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos Pedregal, and Montage Los Cabos. Cabo also has a multiple of all-inclusive hotels, Airbnb’s, and VRBO's.

What should we do in Cabo?

In between relaxing and enjoying the warmth of the land, visitors should make time to see El Arco, play a round of golf, and hang upside down at the Giggling Marlin. Cabo also has many charter companies available for a day on the water.

Where should we eat in Cabo?

Just like their resorts, Cabo has a wide range of incredible restaurants. Some top favorites include El Farallon within the Waldorf Astoria, Los Tres Gallos Restaurant for its traditional Mexican cuisine, Tacos Gardenias for its Baja classics including fish tacos, and Manta for its stunning views on on a secluded beach.
