Renee and Andrea met in 2nd grade and have been best friends since. Emily and Andrea hit it off right away being the first friend Renee and Emily visited when they first started dating. Andrea, Renee and Emily can be found sharing craft beers and snacking on a famous childhood treat of double stuffed oreo and flaming hot Cheetos.

Renee and Anissa have been friends since high school. Renee was Anissa's maid of honor at her wedding. Emily and Renee took multiple trips to see Anissa and her family in Colorado. They are happy Anissa now lives back in Ohio and they all get to see each other often! Emily and Renee happily play an auntie role to Anissa's two kids Emmy and Jack!

Kaitlyn is Renee's cousin who is only one month and 1 day older than her. Renee and Kaitlyn were polar opposites growing up and got themselves in a lot of trouble at their grandparent's house. They now are close cousins and friends. They recently got matching tattoos together in honor of their childhood memories at their grandparents. Emily and Kaitlyn get along quite well as they are in a similar line of work and can talk science together - something Renee doesn't quite understand.

Renee and Maddie met in college and have been friends ever since. They spent lots of nights in college walking to each other's apartments, cooking meals together, watching Portlandia, and attending multiple concerts together. One of the first pictures Emily and Renee took was with Maddie and Amanda at a bar in Renee's hometown.

Matt is Emily's youngest brother, they have an 8 year age difference. Emily remembers rocking Matt to sleep as a baby and watching him grow up over the years. His first trip post-high school was to Chicago where Emily and Renee took him around to all their favorite spots for a long weekend.

Dan is Emily's oldest brother but is still 3 years younger than her. Dan, Emily and Renee all share a deep love for cats, and we all know cats like Dan the best. Emily remembers her and Dan playing in the woods behind their childhood home for hours on end in the summers.

Dev and Emily became friends on the first day of Freshman year in college as random roommates. They have countless memories of laughing together, studying together and attending all their sorority events together. Renee and Emily visited Dev when she lived in Seattle and Dev has visited Renee and Emily multiple times in Chicago. Renee and Dev got along right away due to their similar sense of humor and adventure.

Laura and Emily met at work in 2019 when Emily started working for bp. Laura, Emily and Renee spending time together doing anything from, chatting about reality shows over beers, attending knitting club, having game nights, to exploring neighborhood bars and new spots in the city together. Laura and her husband Bryan have been good friends and neighbors of Emily and Renee for years sharing many laughs together.

We truly don't have words to explain how loving, supportive and caring our moms are. We are so grateful to have them both here and by our sides on our wedding day.

We can't thank our dads enough for being with us on our wedding day. Dave has visited us in Chicago many times. He has been Renee's coach, math teacher, fishing pal, sports rival, and financial advisor throughout her life. Emily and Dave are so close that she is one of the only people he lets cut his hair!

From helping hang cat contraptions on a wall and even plumbing issues, he is always ready to help us solve our next new home-owner issue. Emily is thankful for her dad's innovation in engineering home projects and teaching her how to problem solve.
