Too much to say in a short little blurb about the best big sister a girl could ask for. From sharing a room, endless board games, and sharing a love for food to now you standing as my Maid of Honor on the most special day. Could never thank you enough for all that you do for me! <3
Alexandra Hayes - Bridesmaid
Also known as Gator, Allie is Chris's older sister and I am so excited that soon I get to call her my sister too! One thing about Gator is she is always going to recommend a great book and serve as fashion inspiration with her incredible style!
Rebecca Hayes - Bridesmaid
Not only am I lucky enough to gain one sister, but two! Ru is Chris's younger sister and I remember I met her on one of Chris and I's first couple dates haha, so she was the first of the Hayes family I met(: So excited she now gets to be a part of this special day!
Kayla Makin - Bridesmaid
Kayla has been a bestie since we met on the bus at 5 years old. She has seen me through every phase of life including endless sleepovers, being tennis doubles partners, and even freshman year roommates, and very excited for her to be a special part of this new phase!
Kaitlin Dayton - Bridesmaid
Kaitlin was my first Florida friend and even when I had to regretfully leave sunny FL we stayed close. Now that we are back to living close I know she will always be down to try any yummy restaurant we find, go paddleboarding, or have a girls night in(:
Maggie McCormick - Bridesmaid
I met Maggie when she picked me up at the front door on my first day of work in D.C. and it was instant friendship! The friendship grew through countless softball games, sleepovers on my couch, and dancing the night away.
Alexandra Ferreira - Bridesmaid
Alex and I bonded while sitting next to each other at work. Alex was planning her wedding when we first became friends and now she is basically my wedding planner because of her impeccable taste! We share a love for a good deal shopping, so she's also basically my personal stylist (;
Kristin Slayton - Bridesmaid
Kristin was a lifeline for me at the academy. She roomed right across the hall and we bonded over crumbl cookies, morning workouts, and a million other things I can't even list. So thankful she was there to get me through that crazy journey and now here to be by my side in this next wonderful one!
Groomsmen
Michael Hayes - The Best Man
Michael is my younger brother, Best Man, and one of my best friends (despite the 8 year age gap and even greater gap in maturity). We both share a very fun and competitive spirt, and have gotten into some good trouble over the years. You can always find us cheering on the Birds, Phils, Sixers or terrorizing our sisters. If you run into Michael at the reception, be sure to get him to say one of his famous toasts.
Joshua Cutter - Groomsman
You can tell Josh is always willing to take a photo with me. A lot of people have described Josh and I as a quarrelling married couple, but you try living with him for a few years. Josh is one of my closest friends, we've had so many fun memories together - trying to figure out how to golf, finding the best ticket deals for DC sporting events, and chasing down Rec softball trophies. If you run into Josh at the reception, ask him about our first trip to the driving range together.
Joseph O'Connor - Groomsman
Joe and I became fast friends after I wiped the floor with him in a game of beer pong our freshman year. We've remained the best of friends despite living on opposite sides of the East coast, keeping in touch over intense games of Call of Duty, Pokémon card collecting, discussing nature and philosophy, and just about anything else going on in the world. If you run into Joe at the reception, ask him about our almost terrible encounter with Secret Service near the White House while we were in school.
Marco Masakayan - Groomsman
Marco and I met at CUA playing basketball at the Kane Center and have the best of friends ever since. Marco and I have also managed to defy the distance and remain close despite getting to see each other only once or twice a year (being a Knicks and Mets fan doesn't help either). We've kept in touch playing video games, talking about sports, fitness, and always discussing Lord of the Rings or Star Wars. Marco is one of the most selfless and caring people I know. If you run into Marco at the reception, ask him about the time we drove to Orlando to watch a single half of an Orlando Magic game.
Tyler Hammett - Groomsman
Tyler and I met at CUA and have been great friends ever since. Despite being a DC sports fan, Tyler and I have bonded over sporting events, golf outings, working out, music, fantasy football and much more. Tyler is one of the most loyal and trustworthy friends I have and I can always count on him to bring the energy to whatever we do. If you run into Tyler at the reception, please don't ask him about the Commanders, ask him about our most recent golf cart mishap.
Nicholas Goldyn - Groomsman
The first time I met Emily's twin brother Nick was on a 5 day road trip from Colorado to Pennsylvania. Emily fell asleep about 3 minutes into the drive after introducing us...but we became friends and bonded over music, trivia, some very interesting podcasts, and more. It's been so much fun to compete with Nick in darts, ping pong, and other board games (yes the twins do team up). If you run into Nick at the reception, ask him about the time Emily betrayed me in an intense game of Risk, or when we almost got mauled by a bear in the Tetons.
Matthew Goldyn - Groomsman
Matt is Emily's older brother and the last, but as the eldest brother, most nerve racking member of the Goldyn family that I met. Matt and I have bonded over chess, trivia, and some very interesting conversations about investment trusts. If you run into Matt at the reception, make sure to ask for a good book recommendation.
