Our Wedding

We met the way many modern love stories begin—on Hinge. Kam stood out right away with a great opening line that made Emily laugh and want to keep the conversation going. A few days later, we met in person over pizza at Amberdonia’s. The date was good—comfortable, easy—but it was our second date that changed everything. That second date was an adventure: a meticulously planned road trip, a casual stop at Costco, an escape room challenge, and a fun dinner to top it all off. Somewhere between puzzles and a race to beat the clock, we both realized this wasn’t just another date. This was different. Kam was calm and encouraging, with a gift for planning adventures that made Emily feel like life would always be exciting with him by her side. As our relationship grew, so did our shared love of road trips, travel, games, music and food. Inspired by an old legend, Emily made Kam the famous “Engagement Chicken” one night. While it didn’t immediately lead to a proposal, it did spark a tradition—and a shared love of cooking and trying new recipes out for each other. Then, on January 5th, at the beautiful Longwood Gardens, Kam completely surprised Emily. While he was down on one knee, Emily was in such shock that she didn’t even wait—she grabbed the ring from his hand and shoved it onto her finger without saying yes. (Don’t worry, she said it shortly after. Eventually.)

Please make sure to also dress for comfort. There will be a short walk (20 minute) between the ceremony and dinner. Vegas can also be quite warm in April.
