Michigan Beach on Lake Michigan is a favorite spot for all. It offers a white sandy beach, Petoskey stones, an ADA playground, walking trails, a basketball court, an ADA beach access mat, a volleyball net, a pavilion, concessions, restrooms, a swimming area, and the iconic Charlevoix Lighthouse within walking distance of downtown Charlevoix. Also, if you're looking to fish and don't have a boat, fish off of the pier on Michigan Beach! One of Charlevoix's best beaches, enjoy sandy shores and great sunsets.
During the summer season, operational hours are 10am – 5pm, 7 days a week, Lavender Hill Farm is FREE to visit and explore! No cover charge or ticket fees are collected for walking the property, viewing our many lavender fields and gardens, observing our working honeybees, our fairy garden, strolling our lavender labyrinth, walking trails, viewing our century old events barn, and exploring the hundreds of products available in our new Farmhouse Boutique!
Play one of Michigan's oldest golf clubs, established in 1896! Country club conditions at municipal pricing! The Charlevoix Golf Club is a beautiful 9 hole, par 36 course designed by Scottish Architect Willie Watson. The Course is conveniently located on the north side of Charlevoix, close to public beaches on Lake Michigan and Lake Charlevoix. *Golf carts are not available.
