Q + A

Can I stay at the venue?

There are limited numbers of glamping tents available at the venue that can be booked directly through them. It is possible to stay the night before and/or the night after. Please see the "places to stay" for more info.

When should I arrive?

If you are a day guest, please arrive before 12:40pm ready for the 1pm ceremony start. Guests can arrive any time from 12pm. If you are an evening guest, you can arrive any time from 6pm.

What should I wear?

Clothes, preferably. This is an outside venue mostly on grass, so flat shoes would be reccomended. For the ceremony and pictures most of us will be dressed smart casual and changing into summer festival clothes for the afternoon/evening to enjoy garden games and what we hope will be sun. Suits and ties are completely optional, feel free to come in jeans. Alternatively, feel free to bring a spare change of clothes as there is a changing area where you can leave bags. The evening will be summer festival glitter and lights festival vibes, so we welcome anybody who would like to dress up for the evening! Florals, sparkles, light up or anything crazy is definitely encouraged.

Is there somewhere to get changed at the venue?

Yes! There are changing facilities on site. You're welcome to bring bags and leave them in there when you arrive. If you are glamping you will also have your tent on site.

What food are we having?

Day guests will be having a BBQ and in the evening we will be having pizza buffet. There will be of course plentiful cake and sweets - because I mean, have you met us?

What are the drinks options?

There will be lots of non-alcholic options on hand for the other fellow non-drinkers. We will have table wine, soft drinks and jugs of water out for everyone and spares in the cold storage unit to help yourselves. We will also have a full pay as you go bar that will be offering the usual range of alcoholic and non-alcholic drinks.

Do you have a gift registry?

I will defer to the wise words of my bridesmaid Martina on this one, a philosophy she instilled in me many years ago... "I bought you the gift of nothing. It's the best gift because you don't have to make room for it or have to keep it clean or dust it." So my plea to you all is please to take mercy because I hate dusting and my poor husband to be has never so much as touched a duster in his life. In all seriousness, we just wish for you all to come and have a great time! There is nothing better you could give us than some incredible memories and amazing company on our big day. The one thing Adam has requested for his amusement is "drunk Shane", and I don't think that will be a problem.

Is this wedding adults only?

Of course!
