Glacier National Park, nicknamed the "crown of the continent", is an incredible landscape carved out by glaciers. It is managed by the National Park Service, and they have a great website with tons of information for the park: https://www.nps.gov/glac/index.htm
The entry fee (as of 2024) is $35 per vehicle, and is good for a week. If you are going on one of our planned group hikes, you won't have to pay this.
For the Going to the Sun Road, a must-see in Glacier, and the North Fork area, vehicle permits will be required for access during certain hours. These permits grant you and your vehicle access to the specific area in the park to avoid overcrowding. They must be applied for in advance, and they can go quick. Access to these areas is also possible before 7am and after 3pm (as of the 2025 season).
