Q + A

When should I RSVP?

Please RSVP by August 1st, 2022

Why Maui?

Simply put, it is one of our favorite places! We first visited together in January of 2020, where we saw a crew setting up for a wedding. Since then our hearts have been set on it.

We are so excited to share this with you all, especially the first timers!

What will the weather be like?

In Wailea/Kihei, the average high temperature in October is in the mid 80's, with lows in the lower 70s.

TRAVEL

When should I book my travel?

AIRFARE: We recommend booking at least 4 months in advance, and no later than one month in advance. We have flown Delta, Southwest, and United to Maui. When flying from Cleveland, our preferred airline is United as they have flights with only one stop.

PLACES TO STAY: We have reserved rooms at Wailea Beach Resort. You can find the booking link under the 'TRAVEL' tab. You can book as early as today, and must book prior to 8/31/22 to secure your room and rate.

Do I have to book 10/1-10/8 at the resort?

Nope! Our rate is valid 10/1-10/8, so you can book that rate any day/amount of days, within that date range.

Our rate is also available 3 days prior to 10/1, and 3 days after 10/8. You can find more details under the 'TRAVEL' tab.

Do I have to stay at the Wailea Beach Resort?

No! There are many places on Airbnb and VRBO. If this is the route you take, we recommend finding a place to stay in the Wailea or Kihei area.

What airport should I fly into?

Kahului Airport (OGG). The resort is a 30 minute drive from the airport.

Do I need to rent a car?

It's not required to rent a car, however we highly recommend doing so to take in all Maui has to offer! In the Wailea/Kihei area, there is Uber + Lyft. Please be aware that Uber + Lyft may not be available in some areas of the island.

If you are staying at the Wailea Beach Resort, there is an Enterprise on site where you'll be able to rent a car for any number of days throughout your stay. We recommend making a reservation for this in advance.

CEREMONY/RECEPTION

What is the dress code?

Our wedding is beach formal. Dress to impress!

Ladies think maxi dresses, midi dresses, formal jumpsuits + rompers, and formal cocktail dresses. Men think suits (tie optional) and sport coats. It can be breezy at our venue. Please keep this in mind when deciding what to pack!

We kindly ask no jeans or shorts.

Can I bring a date?

As much as we would love to include everyone, we have a strict number that our vendors have been booked for. We politely ask that you do not add guests who are not represented on the invitation to your RSVP.

Are children welcome?

We love your children, however, this is an adults only ceremony + reception.

Can I take photos?

We would like all of our guests to be fully present for our ceremony and ask that all cell phones + cameras remain put away, silenced and there be no photos or video taken. We have hired an amazing photographer to capture our ceremony. We will be happy to share photos afterwards.

During the reception, our photographer will be hanging around to capture more memories, but we welcome you to capture some then too!

Is transportation to the venue provided?/Is there parking?

We are trying to find a vendor for transportation for those who will be staying at the resort - more to come!

Yes, there is parking at the venue should you decide to rent a car.
