When&nbsp;we&nbsp;found&nbsp;out&nbsp;we&nbsp;were&nbsp;having&nbsp;Trystan&nbsp;we&nbsp;finally&nbsp;decided&nbsp;for&nbsp;us&nbsp;to&nbsp;start&nbsp;our&nbsp;lives&nbsp;we&nbsp;needed&nbsp;a&nbsp;fresh&nbsp;start&nbsp;in&nbsp;a&nbsp;new&nbsp;place&nbsp;far&nbsp;away&nbsp;from&nbsp;Maryland&nbsp;and&nbsp;the&nbsp;lives&nbsp;we&nbsp;had&nbsp;led&nbsp;before.&nbsp;Luckily&nbsp;our&nbsp;family&nbsp;in&nbsp;Easley&nbsp;welcomed&nbsp;us&nbsp;with&nbsp;open&nbsp;arms&nbsp;and&nbsp;homes&nbsp;and&nbsp;helped&nbsp;us&nbsp;to&nbsp;have&nbsp;the&nbsp;life&nbsp;we&nbsp;do&nbsp;today.&nbsp;This&nbsp;was&nbsp;actually&nbsp;our&nbsp;first&nbsp;day.&nbsp;We&nbsp;came,&nbsp;we&nbsp;stayed,&nbsp;and&nbsp;never&nbsp;looked&nbsp;back.

The Move

Tim&nbsp;proposed&nbsp;on&nbsp;June&nbsp;29&nbsp;2021&nbsp;in&nbsp;an&nbsp;area&nbsp;off&nbsp;of&nbsp;a&nbsp;trail&nbsp;by&nbsp;the&nbsp;Parthenon&nbsp;in&nbsp;Nashville&nbsp;called&nbsp;,"The&nbsp;Sunken&nbsp;Garden".&nbsp;&nbsp;Emily&nbsp;suspected&nbsp;something,&nbsp;&nbsp;but&nbsp;was&nbsp;still&nbsp;speechless,&nbsp;and&nbsp;despite&nbsp;thinking&nbsp;up&nbsp;a&nbsp;million&nbsp;funny&nbsp;things&nbsp;to&nbsp;do&nbsp;or&nbsp;say,&nbsp;"yes"&nbsp;was&nbsp;all&nbsp;that&nbsp;the&nbsp;moment&nbsp;needed.&nbsp; A&nbsp;little&nbsp;backwards?&nbsp;Yep.&nbsp;But&nbsp;we&nbsp;really&nbsp;never&nbsp;did&nbsp;anything&nbsp;in&nbsp;the&nbsp;traditional&nbsp;way.

The Venue
The venue at falls park is a beautiful historic landmark located in downtown Greenville.&#160; It sits at the very top of Falls Park which makes for a beautiful place for wedding photos. Its also a great spot to use as a starting point to explore all main street has to offer all of our out of town guests.

Whittle Party Of 3

Our family... Trystan Michael Whittle entered our lives on December 21, 2019 and was truly our miracle. We knew our relationship was forever from day 1. What we didnt know is how full, happy, wonderful our days would&#160; be. We are so lucky to have eachother and our son. He was definitely a suprise, but sometimes "life finds a way".&#160;

Welcome Home 

On May 10 2021 we sealed the deal on our first home.&#160; A beautiful traditional 1 story home in Historic Pickens SC. We went to look at another house one day, really just out of curiosity and when our realtor asked if we wanted to see anything else , we said sure this one. Somehow we pre qualified, and with help from Trystans Nana made an offer. Again the universe agreed that this was our family home because in a horrible market with crazy ,over appraisal, all cash offers, and everyone and their brother wanting to move south, our offer was picked. Its amazing how things work out in life. A little luck is an understatement.

Our Wedding

An Affair To Forever

It started at Batemans where we met eachother the day Tim trained Emily.&#160; We became fast friends and eventually realized it was so much more. Following our hearts and our happiness wasnt easy. It meant taking a leap of faith and crawling out of holes years in the making.&#160; After the first date we knew it was a forever situation, and worth anything even ending the comfortable misery we had currently both found ourselves in at the time. It meant no longer hiding and figuring out a path to happiness together.
 
Lucky for us the universe and fate agreed. We found out we were going to have our son Trystan and the rest is really a backwards fall into happiness. It took a bus ride from Maryland to South Carolina to start our lives in the light.&#160;
 
 With a lot of help from our family here , a place to stay from Hoot,&nbsp; tons of rides to doctors visits from Linda and lots of trips the dream store to find cheap furniture with Glen. We managaed to find our first home as a family. Literally just in time, Emily went into labor during the move.
 
 We welcomed Trystan Michael Whittle on December 21,2019. After a lot of work, another short rental in between, some help from Jill (Emilys mom, and the newest SC transplant), and a little time we bought our first home this May. 
 
Then During a long awaited few day vacation Tim proposed at The Parthenon in Nashville in the sunken garden. Our lives are filled with more happiness, blessings, and opportunities then we ever thought we could possibly have. Today were so excited to share all of this with our friends and family&#160; and celebrate our journey from where we started to where we are.

Jes is one of our best friends. No matter how far apart we are she has been there through the good the bad the wierd and the crazy. She is coming all the way from Maryland to be in our wedding and we couldn't ask for a better friend or maid of honor.

Tims younger brother. He couldn't think of anyone better to stand by his side as he takes this next step forward in life with Emily.

Jill is representing the mother role for the wedding. She is Emily's mom.  Tims mother Teresa Whittle will be with us in spirit on the day and Jill is honored to represent her in person.

Don or Hoot as he is lovingly called is representing the fathers for the wedding. He is Tims father. Emily's father Michael Kearns passed away in 2008 of cancer and will only be able to be there in spirit. Hoot is honored to step in and walk Emily down the aisle and represent Michael in person.

Our son and our work will be our ring bearer. He made us parents and has completed the beyond our wildest dreams life we all share.

Jules is jes's daughter and a very beautiful and cool young lady.  We are very lucky to have her as our flower girl!

It's right across the street and within walking distance from our venue.

Hampton Inn Downtown Greenville

***We are currently working on a room block now from another hotel affiliated with our venue. We were going to do 10 rooms however we have to fill 80 percent of those 10 rooms. So please message Tim and I if you're definitely going to come and use the rool block.***

Our home is open if we have extra space, the bridal party will be staying here, and wed like to keep room for the wedding party. Family here has offered their guest rooms, but we will do our best to find affordable amd confprtable accommodations for everyone.

This is the airport you will be flying into if you're one of our many friends and family from Maryland or out of state! Trystans Nana always says to fly south west. But, all the major airliners to fly into GSP. It's small but it's really nice, they so offer tons of car rentals, as well as the uber and lyft options. 

***Forewarning*** Uber and Lyft are offered in the SC upstate and in Greenville you shouldn't have any problem getting a driver. However... in the surrounding areas like where we live in Pickens, and even Easley, it does take some time to find a driver. When we first arrived we had to get used to waiting 20 minutes sometimes longer for a pick up instead of the Baltimore  1 min wait time. 

We are always available to pick up and drive anyone who needs us!!! We want this to be stress free and fun!

Welcome To Our Area

We know this is a trip for our family and friends coming from Maryland. We want you to enjoy your time especially after being quarantined because of covid. These are just a few things we think make our area special, and that we think will be a lot of fun for you to enjoy and experience. The upstate and foothills of South Carolina are filled with lots of natural beauty, cool museums, varied restaurants, and exciting activities. We hope you love it as much as we do.

South Carolina has natural beauty every where. In the upstate area we have tons of trails, lakes, and rivers that run through the mountain area and foothills we call home. Swamp Rabbit is a great trail that stretches through Travelers Rest and Greenville. Within walking distance from the Hampton Inn. Surrounded by lots of great places to eat and shop and explore in the downtown area of TR. 

Swamp Rabbit Trail

The Doodle Trail, just like Swamp Rabbit is a great way to explore the beauty the foothills has to offer. It stretches from Pickens all the way to Easley.  The trail stretched almost 15 miles, has 2 parks at each end with train cars that give a nod to our towns history, is pet friendly, and offers bike rentals and outdoor workout equipment. There's a lot to see and you'll find yourself at the heart of each areas downtown.

The Doodle Trail

Lots of antique shops, boutiques, and restaurants. All set right on the rail road tracks. Merrels is the first place Tim and Emily had food when they moved here and explored their new home. Sam's antique shop is also a really great shop to explore, (the bride and groom have some great furniture from this shop). If you visit stop by Karma , get some ice cream, and say hi to the mother of the bride, Jill, while she's working in the clothing boutique. 

Easley Downtown 

Everything a city should be. Lots of history along with plenty of modern amenities. Includes Falls park which is a beautiful place to see and explore. Greenville has all the accommodations of a northern city, but its clean, happy and welcoming. Lots of great museums and monuments to help visitors learn about Greenville and its history.  We started with main street and explored out from there. 

Downtown Greenville

Definitely worth the drive. Its a 20 minute drive from Em and Tims house. Lots of fun things to see along the way like the pumpkintown big pumpkin and chair stop. Loaded with trails its a great way to explore the mountains that make our home so beautiful. 

Table Rock

Our Venue is situated right at the top of this beautiful park. Its a great place to explore without of paths, gardens, open areas to sit and relax, and waterfalls. With downtown Greenville only a short walk away.

We&nbsp;picked&nbsp;a&nbsp;delicious&nbsp;cake.&nbsp;Jill&nbsp;and&nbsp;Emily&nbsp;ate&nbsp;most&nbsp;of&nbsp;it&nbsp;and&nbsp;saved&nbsp;Tim&nbsp;like&nbsp;a&nbsp;crumb,(&nbsp;they&nbsp;didn't&nbsp;know&nbsp;the&nbsp;samples&nbsp;went&nbsp;home&nbsp;with&nbsp;them!)....&nbsp;Emily,&nbsp;with&nbsp;Tim's&nbsp;crumb&nbsp;tasted&nbsp;approval,&nbsp;picked&nbsp;a&nbsp;sweet&nbsp;potatoe&nbsp;cake&nbsp;with&nbsp;and&nbsp;chai&nbsp;icing&nbsp;filling...&nbsp;the&nbsp;outside&nbsp;will&nbsp;be&nbsp;black&nbsp;and&nbsp;white&nbsp;but&nbsp;the&nbsp;inside&nbsp;is&nbsp;something&nbsp;to&nbsp;dream&nbsp;about&nbsp;its&nbsp;that&nbsp;good.&nbsp;Emily&nbsp;knows&nbsp;some&nbsp;cake.&nbsp;Thank&nbsp;you&nbsp;to&nbsp;Allessa&nbsp;at&nbsp;Kathy&nbsp;and&nbsp;Company&nbsp;for&nbsp;all&nbsp;the&nbsp;wonderful&nbsp;options,&nbsp;and&nbsp;making&nbsp;the&nbsp;dream&nbsp;cake&nbsp;for&nbsp;our&nbsp;wedding.

When we first got to Easley we took a long walk and explored downtown Easley. This is where we took our first photo together in Christopherson park by the gazebo and fountain. The other day we decided to get a new pic together in the same spot. &#128149;

Tim&nbsp;looked&nbsp;so&nbsp;Handsome.&nbsp;The&nbsp;girls&nbsp;at&nbsp;the&nbsp;new&nbsp;barbershop&nbsp;&nbsp;Jack's&nbsp;Parlour&nbsp;in&nbsp;Easley&nbsp;did&nbsp;amazing&nbsp;on&nbsp;tims&nbsp;haircut&nbsp;and&nbsp;beard,&nbsp;and&nbsp;even&nbsp;his&nbsp;eyebrows&nbsp;(it&nbsp;really&nbsp;accentuated&nbsp;his&nbsp;Whittle&nbsp;crinkle&nbsp;face&nbsp;look&nbsp;he&nbsp;does).&nbsp;Great&nbsp;preview&nbsp;for&nbsp;the&nbsp;wedding,&nbsp;and&nbsp;amazing&nbsp;look&nbsp;for&nbsp;engagement&nbsp;photos.&nbsp;Finally&nbsp;some&nbsp;real&nbsp;pictures&nbsp;of&nbsp;us,&nbsp;that&nbsp;aren't&nbsp;selfies!!!

Rehearsal&nbsp;is&nbsp;going&nbsp;to&nbsp;be&nbsp;at&nbsp;our&nbsp;venue,&nbsp;The&nbsp;Venue&nbsp;at&nbsp;Falls&nbsp;Park&nbsp;631&nbsp;south&nbsp;main&nbsp;st.&nbsp;Greenville,&nbsp;SC.&nbsp;&nbsp;Time&nbsp;is&nbsp;from&nbsp;10&nbsp;to&nbsp;11. Rehearsal&nbsp;"dinner":&nbsp;While&nbsp;we&nbsp;are&nbsp;not&nbsp;having&nbsp;a&nbsp;traditional&nbsp;dinner&nbsp;we&nbsp;will&nbsp;be&nbsp;doing&nbsp;a&nbsp;small&nbsp;gathering&nbsp;at&nbsp;our&nbsp;house&nbsp;for&nbsp;out&nbsp;of&nbsp;town&nbsp;guests&nbsp;and&nbsp;everyone&nbsp;in&nbsp;the&nbsp;wedding&nbsp;party.&nbsp;We&nbsp;will&nbsp;have&nbsp;alcohol&nbsp;and&nbsp;food&nbsp;provided&nbsp;by&nbsp;Linda,&nbsp;Dan,&nbsp;and&nbsp;Don&nbsp;Whittle.&nbsp;Lots&nbsp;of&nbsp;thanks&nbsp;for&nbsp;giving&nbsp;us&nbsp;this&nbsp;party.&nbsp;Time&nbsp;is&nbsp;tentatively&nbsp;set&nbsp;for&nbsp;2pm.&nbsp;Though&nbsp;anyone&nbsp;arriving&nbsp;later&nbsp;can&nbsp;always&nbsp;stop&nbsp;by. &nbsp; 9pm&nbsp;bridal&nbsp;party&nbsp;separates&nbsp;for&nbsp;the&nbsp;night.

THURSDAY NIGHT BACHELOR AND BACHELORETTE PARTY
We are doing a combined bachelor and Bachelorette party on Thursday night.&nbsp; This is definitely amd 21 amd over adult activity and while everyone is welcome to come and have some fun, we will be going to the traditional bachelor party establishments.&nbsp; So please begore you decide to come make sure that you are comfortable.
