About 7 years ago, Emily went on a date with a man who was handsome, kind, and not at all her "type." This man also happened to be Noah's roommate. About halfway through the meal, the two realized it was not a love connection and started to get to know each other as friends. After sharing some laughs, the man said, "You know, you and my roommate are so similar -- like you have the same energy? You have to meet him. Plus he's ridiculously good looking. I swear, you are going to fall in love with him."
Emily and Noah met for the first time that evening and sure enough they were immediately taken by each other. Fortunately, for Noah, his naturally suave demeanor and laid back attitude saved him from coming on too strong. Emily had no such luck - she was smitten by Noah's radiant smile and the fact he had a copy of the American Constitution on his desk (a very important feat for this young historic preservation major). Although it would take Noah a year for his brain to admit it, his heart was quickly and dramatically falling in love. At a time when he was surrounded by new friends and new experiences, his happiest moments were always spent with Emily.
After that night, Emily and Noah’s love story follows the path of so many before them--they became fast friends, dance partners, and confidants. Before long the two were inseparable, and falling deeper in love by the day. After six years together, the couple could not be more excited to promise a life of friendship, love, and poorly timed jokes to each other.
