About 7 years ago, Emily went on a date with a man who was handsome, kind, and not at all her "type." This man also happened to be Noah's roommate. About halfway through the meal, the two realized it was not a love connection and started to get to know each other as friends. After sharing some laughs, the man said, "You know, you and my roommate are so similar -- like you have the same energy? You have to meet him. Plus he's ridiculously good looking.
