Katie Lowrie
Katie Lowrie - Maid of Honor
Emily Sarah Lowrie. You are my sweetest shmee, my confidant, my car dancing partner, and my best friend. When I first heard, “his name is Noah, Noah King.” I knew he was someone special just by the way you said his name over the phone. 6 years later Noah King has shown up time and time again. Witnessing your love blossom has been one of my greatest treasures in life. Welcome to the family Noah King. Love you guys forever and always.

Maddy Spear - Maid of Honor
The friendship I share with Emily Lowrie and Noah King has been one of the greatest gifts of my life. It was a fast friendship, cemented at our first Home Team Grill Christmas Party our Sophomore year of college. My most palpable memory is watching Noah stare in awe as Em danced her heart out- the infamous “look.” It was a look filled with an overwhelming amount of love and adoration - something only the lucky ones feel and the luckiest are fortunate enough to give. Over the years, I would see them both replicate the “look” again and again. Sometimes it comes out during the exciting moments in life, but more frequently I’ve seen it during the mundane, everyday moments. Of the many things Em and Noah have taught me, the most important is to search for and never settle for anything less than a once in a lifetime love. I know with all my heart they’ve got the good stuff, and it is an honor and privilege to be a part of their big day.
Riley Fisher
Riley Fisher - Best Man
Hello everyone. I’m Riley, and I have the great fortune of being friends with Noah and Emily. Noah and I became friends, roommates and then brothers in our time together at UMW. It is a gift to have spent so much time around this man — learning, growing and laughing through life together. I have never had a friend like Noah, nor do I suspect I will ever have another. I was introduced to Emily shortly after and it was overwhelmingly apparent that the two shared a special connection. While they were a powerhouse together, I was so happy to develop such a rich personal relationship with Emily. I love and respect this woman so much and, for me, this day truly represents my two best friends pledging their life’s to each other. It’s an honor to be a part of this day, I cannot wait to share the joy with you all.
Eamon King
Eamon King - Wedding Party
I am Eamon King the younger brother of Noah King who has known Emily since 2015 when Noah was just "friends" with her in college. Throughout the years I saw them grow closer and closer together with a strong bond between the two. I could tell that Noah was crazy about Emily and was in love with her because she was the first person I'd even seen Noah text back right away. At first I was a bit annoyed by Emily because Noah would go spend time with her instead of getting killed in Super Smash Bros by his 6th grade brother. Although throughout the years that passed, I enjoyed talking to and spending time with Emily as well and am happy to welcome her to the family with open arms.

Emily Sarah Lowrie and Noah Drake King. I was sold on you guys from the gun. To see you guys together brings me so much joy. You both pull out the absolute best in each other and although no one "completes you" it is obvious that you guys make the other shine. I am honored to be a part of their day, and cannot wait for more coffee, late nights, and way too many conversations about our dogs. I love you guys

I’m the guy from “Our Story”. After seeing the potential match, I introduced Emily and Noah to each other and have had the pleasure of watching true love blossom. It is rare to find two people who are meant to be; Noah and Emily are. I have lost count of how many of my favorite memories have come from hanging out with these goofballs, but I can confidently say all of them are cherished. Whether it is watching Emily make Noah sigh so hard he begins to deflate, or hearing Emily’s boisterous laugh as Mr. King does something oh so remarkably Noah; the love between these two is always palpable. Thank you Emily and Noah for bringing the joy and light of your relationship to the world.

I'm Julia and I can't wait to celebrate Em and Noah's big day! A few years ago — when Emily and I were coworkers but still practically strangers — we went for a walk down by the James River. I think I remember it so clearly because I was taken aback by how easy it was to be around her. It was the beautiful surprise of realizing you'd met a lifelong friend. I met Noah a little after that and it all made sense. I saw Emily's curiosity, openness, and emotional intelligence reflected in her partner. And now I'm lucky enough to count them both as dear friends. I can't even reminisce on the times we've spent together without a lil smile. Photoshoots, moving, dancing (like, so much dancing), picnics, meeting Milo and Hallie — being around Emily and Noah's love is special. Cheers to a lifetime of these moments. Now let's get y'all hitched!!

In a fitting tribute to their love, my friendship with Noah and Emily began with Noah's body odor. I met Noah in French class at Mary Washington, which I can only assume that he attended after going to the gym. Noah's sulfanylalkanols planted a seed of lifelong friendship with Noah and Emily. That seed blossomed when Emily moved to Richmond after graduating. Over many nights of cooking supper, kvetching over Virginia politics, and half-marathon training, Emily and I became close friends — and closer still when Noah joined us in Richmond. In the intervening years, we've all moved across the country, but even from 2,783 miles away, I see the same love between Noah and Emily that I saw when they first moved in together across town. I love their love — and I’m so happy to be part of their wedding!

In hindsight, the ways in which I met and befriended Emily and Noah were quite circuitous. With Emily, we lived in the same building our freshman year at Mary Washington and became those sort of friends who always said hi and were friendly but didn’t actually know much about each other. (Fun fact: Emily’s contact in my phone is still “Emily 4th Floor” and I refuse to ever change it.) It wasn’t until our junior year when we had a Feminism class together and she started becoming close friends with Maddy (also one of my best friends) that we actually started to spend time together. I find it ironic (and telling) that we grew closer after Emily graduated from UMW; our friendship has only strengthened as we’ve matured and learned deeper truths about ourselves, which is remarkable given that many friendships falter as people change. Maddy later introduced me to Noah, as she worked with both Emily and Noah at Home Team Grill in Fredericksburg. (Maddy was a real key player here, huh?!) We too did not begin to spend much time together until my last year of college, but it was the most natural of friendships from the beginning. Loving and celebrating people like Emily and Noah is as easy as breathing, and I am so incredibly honored to be a friend to them both. It will be such a joy to bear witness as they enter this next stage of their lives.

I literally cannot believe my mom and dad are getting married. I had the privilege of meeting both Noah and Emily several years into their relationship. Anyone who knows me well knows that I am disgustingly nostalgic about everything, and that includes things that have yet to happen. I am already feeling so nostalgic about their big day and I literally want to cry as I write this. Both Emily and Noah have shown me nothing but love since the literal moment I met the two of them. I can honestly say that I have a quote worthy "Emily moment" from every single gathering over the last few years (and yes I quote every single one of them every time I see her). Emily & Noah are two of the best people I have met, and knowing that I get to share just a little sliver of that joy means so much to me. All of the love and respect for some of the best people I know on their big day.

Noah and I met when we were freshmen in college. I was so excited to meet another rower, and especially one that was from my area of Virginia. We quickly bonded over our love for sport, extensive knowledge of SpongeBob, and overall amazing senses of humor. I had the pleasure of sharing a home with him for our final two years together at Mary Wash, and I think it's safe to say we made the most of our time. It's a bit surprising that Noah didn't find Emily during one of the many times that he disappeared from our sight, only to return an hour or two later as if he never left. This is just one of the reasons why many of his friends equate him more to a Golden Retriever than a human. He's always excited to see you, he's one of the most loyal companions you'll ever find, he does his very best to cheer you up when you're down, and he could play fetch for hours! Noah has such a kind soul, and it has always been abundantly clear that him and Emily are meant for each other. I'm so happy for you both, and I'm honored to be a part of this special day.

Within my first week of college, I met two strangers in two different places. One was a quiet girl in my first 8AM class, and the other I sought out at the Crew BBQ wanting to know who had the fastest 2k on the team. Oblivious to me at the time, these two people would meet, fall in love, and grow one of the happiest relationships I've seen. I have had the pleasure of knowing both of them the whole way through their journey and am lucky enough to call them both friends! Noah and Emily are truly a special couple and I'm honored to be a part of their big day!

I met Noah and Emily in my second year at Mary Wash, and knew they were two people I needed to keep in my life. I had the pleasure of living with Noah for our last year at Mary Wash and that's when I really got to witness the inspiration that is their relationship. The one memory that really stands out is when Emily was living in Richmond, and Noah was working on his thesis. He would get up at 5am every day to work on it, so he could have time to talk to Emily when she got up. Emily's fierce passion and Noah's compassionate nature both assure me that the both of them will find a life filled with joy on the other side of this wedding. I am honored to have shared part of my life with them, and I know without a doubt they have found true love in each other.
