Things to Do

Hiking

1. Beaver Lake Trail: This is an absolutely beautiful hike, but will require you driving to Beaver creek, which is ~15 minutes from Vail. This hike takes ~3 hours round trip, and we would rate at a medium difficulty. Most of the hike is uphill, but well worth it. The end of the hike leaves you at a beautiful lake in the mountains, that is well worth the effort.

2. Booth Creek Falls: You will either need to take the local bus or drive to the start of this hike. This hike takes ~3-4 hours to complete. On this hike you will traverse up through the mountains and ultimately end up at a stunning creek/waterfall in the mountains.

3. Strawberry Fields Vail: This hike you can walk to from Vail village. We would rate this hike as a medium/hard, mostly due to the distance. The total hike is ~10 miles, and will take you from Vail village, all they way to the top of the mountain, and then back down.

4. Grouse Creek: This will require you to drive to this hike. This hike is rated at a beginner/medium and is a gorgeous mountain hike through forests and by creeks. There are several different paths you can take for this hike.
