What will the weather be like?

NYC in May is typically temperate, between 55 & 75 F. We will be going from day to evening so be prepared for it to cool down at night!

Where should I stay?

Hotel suggestions can be found on the Travel tab above. The Onderdonk House is in Ridgewood, near the Jefferson L Train stop. The L train connects lower Manhattan to Brooklyn, so any hotel or AirBnB in that area should be convenient.

For those who want to drive, parking is limited near the venue so we would recommend arriving before the ceremony or taking a taxi/Uber.

What time should I arrive?

Guests are welcome to arrive any time after 3 PM on the day of the wedding to mingle & find their seats in the garden. The ceremony will be starting at 4 PM.

How do I RSVP?

You can RSVP right on this website! Please select all members of your party that are attending.

When do I need to RSVP by?

Please be sure to RSVP by April 15, 2025. If you are unable to do this we will have to assume that you will not be attending.

What should I wear?

The dress code is "Garden Party", so florals and natural fibers are the name of the game! Don't overthink it, ultimately we just want you to feel and look your best.

Do you have a wedding hashtag?

Please use the hashtag #emilyandsean2025 when posting to social media. That way everyone can enjoy your wonderful memories!

Can I take photos?

We would love if our guests took photos! We do ask that you put your phones away during the ceremony to ensure our photographer can get beautiful pictures of you that do not include your phone.

What's the deal with the guest book?

Rather than having a traditional guest book, we will have a box of recipe cards. We would love if you could bring a favorite recipe of yours for us to use in our new marriage! We will also have cards to fill out, or you can bring one of your own.

Don't want to share a recipe? That's fine too! You can sign a recipe card and give us your well-wishes there. We will treasure your message, whatever you choose.

Do you have a gift registry?

Yes, you can find our registry on this site under the "Registry" tab. You can also feel free to contribute to our honeymoon fund in lieu of giving us a physical gift.
