Given the continued uncertainty surrounding COVID-19, we have made the tough decision to cancel our planned reception in September. We hope to be able to celebrate with you all when it is safe to do so!
Just 30 minutes south of June Lake lies the gorgeous outdoor playground of Mammoth Lakes. We'd HIGHLY recommend spending a day in this area. Explore Mammoth Village, take a drive up to Minaret Vista, head out to the many hot springs in the surrounding areas, go on a high-elevation hike near Lake Mary and Crystal Crag, grab a beer and food at Mammoth Brewing - the possibilities are endless!
Convict Lake is just a few miles south of Mammoth, and has miles of gorgeous trails. We highly recommend the 3 mile lake loop! Then, stop by the Convict Lake Resort for a refreshment and a game of cornhole on their beautiful grounds.
Yosemite is truly one of the most spectacular places on the planet, and the eastern entrance is only a 30 minute drive from June Lake! This is a must-not-miss place for anyone who hasn't yet see it.
Make the drive from the Walker Canyon north of June Lake all the way down to the southern terminus of the Sierra Nevada in Lone Pine. See the tallest peak in the lower 48 from your car, stop by numerous hot springs, enjoy free BLM camping, and spend a little time enjoying the funky towns lining the mountains.
