From 1951 to 2009, the site of Campus No. 805 helped to educate thousands of students in Huntsville and Madison County. The school building has now been transformed as two craft breweries anchor the campus, which includes various options for everything from virtual golf, to axe throwing, to restaurants, a speakeasy and coffee shops, and more.

Lowe Mill ARTS & Entertainment is the largest privately owned arts facility in the United States. With a focus on visual arts, this huge historic factory building has been redeveloped into 152 working studios for over 200 artists and makers, 7 galleries, a theatre, community garden, and performance venues.
Huntsville is home to the state's most visited attraction and the largest space museum in the world: the U.S. Space and Rocket Center (USSRC). The USSRC is a Smithsonian Affiliate and the Official Visitor Center for NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center. A space enthusiast, history buff, appreciator of the arts, or anyone with a general curiosity for how the world works would enjoy a visit.
Big Spring Park is located in downtown Huntsville and surrounds the spring that served as Huntsville's original water source. It’s one of the most visited sites in all of Huntsville, thanks to its scenic views and flowing fountain! While you're walking around downtown Huntsville, there's plenty of restaurants to check out: Jack Brown's Beer & Burgers, Sam & Greg's Pizza, Pan E Vino, The Melt, Honest Coffee Roasters, and The Poppy and Parliament, among others.
Huntsville Botanical Garden is a 112 acre oasis that is open year-round and features the nation’s largest seasonal butterfly house and nature center, a picture perfect aquatic garden, spectacular nature trails, and numerous specialty gardens and plant collections.
At MidCity District, you'll find dining, entertainment and recreational options in this mixed-use development including Topgolf, Dave & Busters, High Point Climbing & Fitness, REI and more. The Camp (as shown in the image above) is an outdoor bar and restaurant with live music and entertainment every night.

Green Mountain Nature Preserve - Walk the 1.5 mile nature trail around the beautiful Sky Lake or picnic at one of the picnic tables.
Monte Sano State Park - Enjoy one of the hiking trails, visit the Japanese Garden, or park and take in some beautiful views of Huntsville.
Blevin's Gap Nature Preserve - Hike one of the many trails, with some ending in an overlook of the city.
Blevin's Gap Overlook - Located by the parking lot of the Bill and Marion Certain Trail (part of Blevin's Gap Preserve), an overlook stands with a grassy area and some benches to soak in the view without the hike.
