Sam is Emily's best friend. Emily and Sam's first memories of each other are at volleyball camps in 6th and 7th grade, but their mom's say they had playdates together back in elementary school. When they got to be on the same school volleyball team for the first time in high school, they were inseparable ever since. Emily and Sam have played sand volleyball in the summer going on 5 years and have been playing at indoor volleyball leagues and tournaments together since graduating college. They've made so many unforgettable memories both on and off the court, including at Sam's family lake house. Sam means a lot to Emily and always keeps things light and adventurous.

Emily and Allison met in high school during school volleyball. They were like twins since they both were 6 ft tall, left-handed, and just plain goofy. Emily and Allison's personalities mesh very well. Even though they don't get to spend as much time together as they did in high school, every time they do meet up, they can pick up right where they left off. Allison has always been very supportive in Emily's life and always puts a smile on Emily's face when a text pops up from her on Emily's phone.

Bryant’s older brother and best bud. Bryant and Brennen have always been very close growing up. Brennen always stood up for and protected his little brother when they were younger, and Bryant really appreciates those memories and learned a lot from him. They’ve been through a lot together, and are closer for it. From jetskiing to playing videos games on their handhelds, these two brothers have fun doing anything together. Bryant couldn’t think of having anyone else to be his Best Man besides Brennen.

Emily’s older brother. While they had their brother and sister tiffs growing up, Emily loves and is very proud of her big brother. She’s watched and been through a lot of ups and downs in his life and is inspired with how he overcame many obstacles. They don’t see each other super often, but they always have each other’s backs. Emily is very grateful to get to have her brother, Ethan, in her wedding.

Ellie is Brennen's FIANCE! Emily and Ellie met a few months after Bryant and Emily started dating. Emily and Ellie hit it off, and Ellie inspires Emily daily. She is always so thoughtful, sweet, and has a servant's heart. Even if she is tired and stressed, if anyone needs a hand, Ellie is there. While Bryant and Brennen are more care-free and spontaneous, Emily and Ellie enjoy planning and can get nervous if there seems to be some uncertainty. Bryant and Brennen are great at calming Emily and Ellie down, but it's nice to know that Emily and Ellie understand each other and that the nerves and need for organization and planning are valid! Emily and Ellie's names always get switched around, and it's always a funny laugh when it happens. Emily loves Ellie and is excited to have a future sister-in-law and grateful to have Ellie in her life.
