What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

The ceremony will begin at 5:30 p.m., but please arrive by 5 p.m. for a short walk to the ceremony site.

How should I get to the ceremony?

The ceremony site is Gedney Farm in New Marlborough. There is parking available, but we strongly encourage guests to use the provided bus transportation leaving from the Fairfield Inn and Holiday Inn, even if you are not staying at those hotels. Buses will leave from each hotel at 4:30 p.m. Though not a long drive from Great Barrington to New Marlborough, the roads are winding, and we do not want anyone driving back to their lodging in the dark.

When I am tired of dancing, how do I get back to my bed?

Buses will be available to drop guests off at the Fairfield Inn and Holiday Inn every hour, starting at 10 p.m.

Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?

Both (weather permitting)! All events are at Gedney farm - the ceremony and cocktail hour are outside and then the festivities transition inside for the reception.

What should I wear?

The dress code is semi-formal or cocktail attire. Please strive to wear something more dressy than what you would wear to an office, but slightly less formal than what you would wear to a black tie/formal event - the proverbial sweet spot. A nice cocktail dress, jumpsuit, midi or maxi dress, or dressy separates/pantsuit all fit the bill, as does a suit or blazer with a tie.

Any advice on footwear?

Yes! The ceremony site is on grass and to get there requires a short walk on beautiful Berkshire gravel. We would suggest block heels, wedges, or flats.

Are there any other fun happenings besides the wedding?

You know it! There is a welcome reception on Friday (6/9) at Barrington Brewery and Restaurant, which starts at 8 p.m. The brewery is a short walk from both the Fairfield Inn and Holiday Inn and is located off Route 7 at 420 Stockbridge Rd Unit 4. Beer, wine, light bites, and dessert will be available.

What about Covid?

We ask that any guest who is not yet fully vaccinated to please make every effort to keep yourself and our other guests safe leading up to our wedding by following CDC guidelines. While it’s not a requirement, we completely understand and respect any guests who may wish to wear a mask on the day.
