met in the summer of 2021, when they were jointly celebrating Emily's stepsister Lindsay's graduation. Lucas had known Lindsay throughout their high school years, and thankfully, that friendship led him to meeting Emily.

After a few months of seeing each other in group settings, Lucas and Emily went on their first date to get Italian food, and the two have been inseparable ever since.

They both share a love for quality time and laughter, so most days are spent together with a shared meal, cheering on their favorite MN sports team, or catching each other up on their exciting daily updates. Lucas and Emily are both great listeners and have a great sense of humor, so when Lucas popped "the question" on May 17th, 2024, Emily couldn't wait to say yes to her perfect match. ❤

We are so excited to celebrate the next step in "our story" in September 2025 and can't wait to have our favorite people by our side for a weekend of love, laughter, and lifelong memories.
