While our big day has not yet come, it already feels as though TJ and I have been married for years. Not only are we the best of friends, but he truly encapsulates what I imagine a soulmate to be.


I'm wholly grateful for TJ's friendship and partnership, and I can't believe our love has blossomed from the humble beginnings of our teenage years.


TJ and I met in 9th grade math class at Phillipsburg High School -- He was late to class (of course) and took the seat right next to me.


Throughout our freshman and sophomore years, we maintained our friendship as classmates in our math, histories, and gym classes (you can imagine what an amazing athlete I was). It was only a matter of time before the universe taught us how our mutual respect/care for each other could blossom.


TJ and I inevitably became a couple during the summer into our junior year of high school. Since then, we have experienced so much life together - family changes, birth of nephews, getting our licenses, going to prom, college, first jobs, and, most excitedly (to me, anyway) cat-parenthood!


Through it all, I cannot imagine anyone else by my side.


As I think ahead to our wedding, I feel so honored to officially call TJ my husband. I hope this day will be as special to you as it is to us!!!
