I'm visiting from out of town. Where should I stay and what should I do while in Fort Worth?
Welcome to Funky Town! We are so excited for you to visit!
We have a room block at the Sheraton hotel in downtown Fort Worth, a block away from the reception venue. Please see the "Travel" tab for more information about the room block. The deadline to book is April 12th. If you're looking for things to do, please see the "Things To Do" tab for ideas of some of our favorite spots in town.
What is the RSVP deadline?
We kindly request that you RSVP by March 4th! If we haven’t received an RSVP from you by that date, then we will assume that you will not be attending and will mark you as “declined”.
What time should I arrive to the ceremony?
The ceremony will start promptly at 6:00pm. please plan to arrive 15-30 minutes before to get a seat. Please don't arrive earlier than 5:00pm as there will be a different wedding at the chapel during that time.
Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place at the same place?
No, the ceremony will be at Marty Leonard Chapel and the cocktail hour and reception will take place at The Ashton Depot in downtown Fort Worth. It takes about 12 minutes to get from the Chapel to The Ashton Depot.
There is a parking lot at the chapel and free valet parking at The Ashton Depot. If you’re staying at the Sheraton, we recommend parking there for the reception and walking over, it’s less than a block. If you’re utilizing the valet at the reception, don’t forget to grab your keys before you leave if you are leaving your car there overnight.
Ubers, Lyfts, and Fetii are readily available in Fort Worth for those from out of town.
May I bring a date?
Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate the guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If your partner is invited, their name will be listed on your wedding invitation, and appear when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding!
Can I bring my kids?
While we adore your little ones, we hope you will understand our decision to make the wedding children-free, and take the opportunity to let your hair down and celebrate in style!
Can I take pictures during the ceremony?
We will be having an unplugged ceremony! Cayla and David, our photographer and videographer, and their team are incredible at their jobs, so let's leave the photography to the experts. It's our hope that you are having such a good time that you put your phones down and forget to pick them back up.
