On Halloween night, Connor and his friend were walking the streets of downtown Colorado Springs with a heart to share Jesus and pray with those who walked by. Connor stopped to ask God where they should go and he heard Tejon street. Emily walked past the two men with her friend on the way to their cars after eating dinner. They asked to pray for the two girls and invited them to the young adults group at their church! Emily started attending and became friends with Connor. They fell in love and became best friends after 8 months of being friends.

Cheyanne and Emily were inseparable while studying at Arizona Christian University together. They were roommates for two years and spent holidays together. Nights filled with laughter, karaoke, sometimes tears and silly adventures marked a beautiful friendship that is closer than sisters. Their friendship is so meaningful to both and has remained years after graduating college.

Tiffany has been a close family friend to Emily's family for over 15 years! She has helped instrumentally in planning their wedding. Tiffany and Emily’s mom go walking around Black Forest every week together. Emily has sweet childhood memories of going over to Tiffany’s house, sitting around the fire, making s’mores, and playing with her sons.

Megan is Emily's younger sister. As the two girls grew up, they became close friends and shared everything with each other. Megan is a pure, innocent soul that Emily cherishes. The two sisters simply enjoy hanging out and talking with each other about life. Megan helped trained Connor and Emily’s dog, Indy, when they first got her.

Heather is Connor's youngest sibling! She is pursuing her bachelors degree in psychology. Heather and Connor have always had a special relationship, being the second and fourth child in the family. Growing up in a household with three older brothers, Heather was not included in the brotherly shenanigans. Heather has always been precious to her brothers and dearly loved.

Sharing a mutual love for God, Nathan and Connor first met as youth at church. They quickly grew incredibly close through many shared experiences in the power of God amidst tangible revival. They continued their close bond into adulthood and attending church weekly.

Connor's oldest brother and long time friend. Connor spent countless hours with Ben, from building igloos, forts and playing sports. Into adulthood, they kindled a deep bond of brotherhood and connection.

Benjamin Kennington

The youngest of the brothers, Seth has an incredible love for his family. He and Connor would often spend their childhood building legos, snowboarding and playing basketball.

Connor's oldest friend of twenty years, of which they spent many of those days living life as kids exploring the world, and into adulthood.
