Attire is semi formal. Anything that fits that, would be comfortable to dance in, and is not white is welcome!

We ask that you keep guests to the amount of people specifically listed on your invitation. Bringing extra guests will compromise our numbers and our seating chart and will make the day more complicated for us. Thank you for your compliance!

We ask that during the ceremony you give your full attention to what is happening and put your phones away. We have an amazing photographer there that we paid to take pictures, and they will be available to you after the wedding!

However please take every picture you wish during the reception and share them with us on social media under the hashtag #onceuponathompson. We want all the memories of our special day!

Our venue, Knollcrest, has a beautiful ceremony and reception spot all on one location! Once the ceremony is over, please walk over to the reception area and enjoy a cocktail hour until the reception begins! We will not be doing photos prior to the wedding, so this may take some time as we will be taking our wedding portraits during this time. We appreciate your patience!

Yes! But pickup will only be 9-12 on Sunday! Please drive safely!

Sadly no, we were unable to find good local resources to set up a shuttle to the hotel. We advice using a CTA taxi or cargo to get home if you are under the influence! Please drive safe!!
