Pierson and Emily met during their first year at Augustana College. In the spring, Emily chose Pierson as her campus crush for her sorority bell tower kiss. Having never spoke before, Pierson coincidentally also asked Emily’s big to introduce him.

That night, Pierson took his future fiancée, who is lactose intolerant, to get ice cream and hang out.

From there, they dated in college and became an athletic Augustana power couple.

After college, they moved to Roselle, IL and added their pride and joy, Reginald to the mix.

Pierson and Emilys’s favorite days include playing with Reg, hiking, traveling, working out, cooking elaborate dinners at 8pm on a weeknight, and crafting.

On September 6, 2023, in Cannon Beach, OR, Pierson proposed to Emily at sunset!
