Emily and Vicky met when they were on the same 5th grade Huntley Parks Department Volleyball team. Vicky claims they didn’t like each other, but Emily disagrees. The two officially became friends freshman year of high school and have shared the same brain ever since.

I was lucky enough to meet Em during her last year of undergrad at Augustana. I may or may not have been too vocal about being in her sorority family. Luckily, she welcomed me in with open arms. We always talk about how it’s so crazy that we formed such a unique and everlasting friendship in such a short period of time together. I am so thankful that we have each other and can’t wait to be by her side on her special day 🤍
Bethany Simon - Bridesmaid
Did you know Emily played basketball? Thank goodness she did because our paths crossed on the court! Since middle school we have been teammates and friends throughout all the stages of life. Whether we’re in the stands rooting each other on or hitting the books together finishing our MBAs - we’ve been the best of pals since.
Claire Martin - Bridesmaid
I first met Emily in 2015 after she (thankfully) transferred to Augustana College sophomore year. From playing countless volleyball games, singing on bus rides, sweating at cardio kickboxing classes, traveling to visit friends, and hysterically laughing about weekend activities, many of my favorite memories involve Emily. I’ve always admired Emily’s dependability, trustworthiness, positivity, and sense of humor. Through all the ups and downs of life, Emily has remained a supportive and consistent friend. I’ve been lucky to experience many happy days with Emily and I can’t wait to celebrate one of the happiest yet on September 1st!

I met Emily my Sophomore year at Augustana where we played volleyball and she joined the same sorority I was in. We became particularly close in our finance and business classes where we commiserated over post Ribco Friday 8:30 am pop quizzes. Senior year was full of incredible memories including Elvis impersonators, the Davenport bars and impromptu 2 a.m. LinkedIn headshot sessions. I am so lucky to have Emily in my life and cannot wait to celebrate her marry her best friend!

We have bonded over only having brothers our entire lives and finally being able to have a sister. Our Sunday Fundays with the family are some of my favorite times, filled with laughter, bonding over skincare tips, and sharing our latest favorite books. She is not only an amazing sister but also a wonderful auntie and a loving dog mom. Being part of the wedding events has been a joy, and I am excited to share in all the future milestone moments to come.
Peyton Fieseler - Bridesmaid
I met Emily when she sent me a text late in my freshman year of college seeing if I was interested in being her roommate. We were both transferring into Augustana the following fall and it seemed too good to be true! Between volleyball practices, pledging, late night talks and everything in between, she has been a shoulder to cry on and my favorite dance partner. I can’t begin to describe how important our friendship is to me and how lucky I feel to stand by her side as she marries the love of her life!
Rachel Mack - Personal Attendant
Emily and Rachel met a long, long time ago. Although they are cousins, Rachel saw Em as a best friend and almost like a bonus little sister!
Sarah Ketelaar - Bridesmaid
Emily and I grew up cousins, spending most of our time together around the holidays including dressing up for Halloween and sitting on Santa’s lap at grandma’s. As we got older, we grew to be more like sisters, making trips between Illinois and Iowa to make some of our best memories together. Whether we are out on the lake or trying out a new drink, we are lucky to be not just friends, but family too.
Chrishawn Orange - Best Man
Pierson and I met in 2015 and have been locked in ever since. Pierson is truly one of the nicest and most thoughtful people I have met. He’s also someone who has gone through some tough times but stayed humble and persevered. I'm grateful to have Pierson in my life, and I look forward to many more years of friendship with him.

Our friendship began early on freshman year of college in seminary hall. We made our connection to music, fashion, and sports instantly and from then on grew closer as life long friends as our lives continued on. From freshman year until present we still stay in touch supporting one another’s passions and goals. Whether it be on the court or on the lacrosse field we’ve always been there for one another and I couldn’t ask for a better friend than P.
Drew Westermeyer - Groomsman
Pierson is not just my sister's future husband; he’s also a cherished friend and a wonderful addition to our family. We’ve bonded over our shared love for golf, spending countless hours on the course together. Beyond the greens, Pierson has proven to be an incredible uncle to my son, serving as a positive role model and a fun companion.
One of Pierson’s many talents is his knack for cooking. He has a special gift in the kitchen, always whipping up delicious meals that bring everyone together. His warm personality, dedication to family, and culinary skills make him an invaluable part of our lives.
We are thrilled to welcome Pierson into our family and look forward to many more shared memories.

I met Pierson in the summer of 2015, going into first year at Augie. Him Chrishawn and I were roommates and we lived together the next 4 years. Some of the most memorable years of my life. Went through a lot together. Life takes people on different paths but I know for sure that the bond P and I have built will continue to thrive no matter where life takes us.

When Pierson first texted me congratulations on joining the basketball team at Augustana College, I knew my playing time would be dwindled after seeing this stunning 6’4 athlete. Over the years, Pierson became one of my closest friends. He pushed me to be a better version of myself by embodying what it means to be a great friend, dedicated athlete (next Tiger Woods nowadays), and applying a “no excuses, get it done” attitude to sports, work, and life. I can’t wait to see him take this next step in his relationship and become the best husband to his wonderful bride-to-be

Pierson and I met our freshman year of high school. We bonded over our love of basketball, and quickly became brothers. Ever since then we’ve been ballin’ on and off the court.

I first met P back in our college days, and he has been one of my closest friends ever since. We've made countless memories together, whether on the basketball court, going to the NBA Finals, him ensuring we all got home safely after long nights out, or just hanging out and playing video games. I couldn’t be more excited to celebrate Emily and Pierson’s big day and look forward to making more memories in the future!
Nolan Ebel - Groomsman
Pierson and I met in the summer heading into freshman year at Augustana as teammates and eventually became roommates for 3 of the 4 years. From him teaching me how to cook his famous Hawaiian bread sandwiches, to me teaching him how to use a Swiffer on our college room floors (Swiffer became his nickname to this day for this reason), we’ve grown a lot together. We’ve experienced a lot of wins on the basketball court together, but much more importantly, a lot of wins off the court together as well. I think we can all agree that marrying Emily is Pierson’s biggest win to date, so I am incredibly honored to be apart of this win by his side.
Ryan Shoemaker - Groomsman
I met P when I was a student assistant for the Augustana men’s basketball team. He used to come over in college to try and beat me in N64 Super Smash Bros. Now we live less than 15 minutes away have retired the N64 controllers and have picked up some golf clubs. We spend most of our time together on the golf course enjoying some Woodford Resevre and hoping to chase a couple birdies
