On January 3, 2022 Emma and Ryan sat down to their first date at M Italian in Chagrin Falls, Ryan was working in Chagrin at the time and Emma was home for winter break of her senior year. The two had instant chemistry, they ended the evening on a walk through Chagrin Falls all lit up for Christmas. 
Over the next few months the two spent as much time as possible together. With Emma visiting Ryan on weekends and Ryan traveling to Westminster. In May Emma graduated and the two were able to spend much more time together. 
On June, 14th the officially became a family with the surprise adoption of their puppy Sadie. They spent the next few months in puppy bliss. 
Emma started her first year of teaching and Ryan began working at Westfield. In December of 2022 the couple made the big step of moving in together. They spent the next year in their Strongsville apartment. They spent time with friends and family, frequented sporting events, and continued to fall in love. 
In March of 2024 the couple found the place they would set down roots, their property in Seville. The two went through the process of designing their dream home and taking on the building process. 
That June, Ryan and Emma’s dad embarked on a 31 mile kayak trip. On mile 31 Ryan asked for Emma’s dad’s blessing to marry Emma. Which was met with a “yes”.
On August 8, 2024 Ryan proposed to Emma in the foyer of their almost completed home. The two were surrounded by family on their special night. Celebrating at the Oaks for a fun filled dinner and pictures. In September the couple moved into their new home. They have hosted holidays and lots of fun times at their home and plan to continue to do so. Please join Emma and Ryan as the celebrate their love on August 9, 2025.
