We want to answer all of your questions about our weekend! Our hope is that this weekend is full of joy and fun! Come and experience the lowcountry with us!
What should I wear?
Our dress code is black-tie optional. For men, we recommend a tuxedo or a dark-colored formal suit with a dark colored tie. For women, we recommend a floor-length gown. However, please do not let our dress code hinder your attendance at our wedding. Dress your best and get ready for a fun night!
When should I RSVP?
Please RSVP by May 6, 2026 using the RSVP card in your invitation or via our website under the RSVP tab.
May I bring a plus-one?

Please view our travel tab to learn more about the hotels that we recommend. There are also plenty of Airbnbs to choose from in the Charleston area.

Where should I park for the ceremony?
We would encourage you to uber or carpool to both the ceremony and reception. If you choose to drive, First Baptist Church of Charleston has free parking found at 48 Meeting Street Charleston, SC. Please park here for the ceremony and walk around to the front of the church to enter through the main doors for the sanctuary access. There will be parking attendants to direct you.
Where should I park for the reception?
We would encourage you to uber or carpool to both the ceremony and reception. If you choose to drive, there is a parking garage directly across from the Gadsden House on Alexander Street.
What else should I know?
It will be summer in Charleston which means it will be hot and humid. Please be sure to drink lots of water before and during your stay in Charleston. Our wedding will include both indoor and outdoor venues.
