What is there to do in Charleston?
Take a walk down King Street to shop, look at historic homes, and get a sense of the Charleston area.
Take a walk around College of Charleston and see where they filmed some of the movie “The Notebook.”
Take a walk around the Citadel and step inside Summerall Chapel if it is open. Go to Market Street and shop the local vendors in the morning while it is still cool.
If you are feeling up for a small drive, go enjoy the beach at Folly Beach or Isle of Palms.
Take a historic tour of downtown Charleston on a horse drawn carriage or take a walk around the historic plantations like Magnolia Plantation or Boone Hall. The Angel Oak Tree is a sight to see as well as the Charleston Tea Plantation.
