Each person who is invited to the wedding is specifically addressed in the invite.

On wedding day, buses will be there to pick up guests from both the Kimpton Taconic and the Hampton Inn and bring them to Hildene starting at 5:00pm. They will be available again at 11:00pm to bring guests back to the hotel/after party area.

While we would love to celebrate with your kiddos, due to event size limitations we made the decision to keep the wedding weekend adults-only. The people invited will be specifically on the invitation. Aside from the two preferred accommodations, there are a number of BnB and Airbnb options in this area. Please choose whichever you and your group are most comfortable with! It is important to note that our transportation service will not drop off on a private drive and there are no Uber/Lyfts/Taxis in the area. Please consider staying close to the two listed hotels to end the night as safely as possible! Our Friday Welcome Dinner will be Summer Semi Formal, meaning men are encouraged to wear a shirt and slacks, coat and tie optional. Women are encouraged to wear sun dresses, jumpsuits, or a blouse and dress pants/skirt. Wedding Day attire will be Black Tie, meaning men are encouraged to wear tuxedos and women are encouraged to wear floor length dresses.
