Brett and Emma next to each other in the yearbook in 2nd grade! Emma's crush on Brett started in first grade, and only grew while they were in the same classes the next three years in elementary school! Considering their last names are close alphabetically, they always stood next to each other in line and often were placed in desks next to each other, which Emma loved of course :) As for Brett, at this age we are pretty sure he believed all girls had cooties LOL
