Emma and Kyle’s love story began in March 2015 when they matched on Tinder, setting the stage for something truly special. Kyle quickly charmed Emma with his good sense of humor, making her laugh from the start. Their connection led to a first date (pictured above) at the AMC movie theater in DeKalb, where they watched Pitch Perfect 2. That first meeting turned into many more, including strolls through Sycamore Park and a very competitive game of mini golf—where Emma proudly emerged victorious. On June 4, 2015, Emma and Kyle officially became a couple, marking the beginning of their incredible journey together.

Over the years, Emma and Kyle have shared countless adventures. They’ve celebrated the Cubs’ World Series win, and enjoyed attending concerts that created unforgettable memories. They’ve also traveled internationally to Iceland and Germany, and they’ve enjoyed annual trips to Starved Rock. Through it all, they’ve always been each other’s biggest supporters, cheering one another on and standing side by side through life’s ups and downs.

On February 9, 2024, Kyle planned a trip to Chicago that turned into a surprise proposal. It was a magical moment, filled with love, excitement, and an enthusiastic yes!

Now, Emma and Kyle are ready to embark on their greatest adventure yet as husband and wife. They can’t wait to celebrate their special day with the people who mean the most to them and have been there to witness their love story grow.
