For our July event, the dress code is "dressy casual" or "smart casual." For women, a sundress is a perfect choice, while men can go with khakis and a nice shirt. If you'd like to play sand volleyball at the reception, feel free to bring a change of athletic clothes! The goal is to look stylish and stay comfortable while having fun.

When you arrive at The Grove, enter the park and drive back towards the estate, where you’ll find parking in the East lot. If there are no available spots please park in the West lot. For the reception at Three Oaks Recreation Center, pull into the park—your visitor fee is already covered. Continue driving until you see a larger pavilion next to Swim Beach, and parking will be right across from the pavilion.

Yes! Kids are welcome to celebrate with us. We will have yard games and volleyball for everyone (even the kids) to enjoy during the reception.

We're excited to share that instead of a traditional gift registry, we're looking at doing a honeymoon fund! You can purchase experiences or contribute money towards our honeymoon using the link in the registry section. We’ll also have a Honeymoon Fund box at the reception for anyone who would prefer to contribute in person. Thank you for supporting us as we create unforgettable memories on our special trip!

We haven't set up any hotel room blocks yet, but there are a few hotels nearby the reception venue. You might want to consider Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Holiday Inn, or Hampton Inn in McHenry, all of which are just a short distance away. Let us know if you need more details or help with booking!
