Our Wedding

We met at Benedictine College in Atchison, KS and we are in awe of all of the things that had to come together for us to meet and fall in love. After a long distance relationship with lots of travel back and forth, back and forth, back and forth plus lots of phone conversations we knew we were in love and wanted to get married. We can't wait to become husband and wife this summer! Nick proposed on the 4th of July. A day we will always remember!

Thank you to everyone who is planning to travel to our wedding. We recognize the immense gift this is for you to spend your time and resources to spend this special time with us. We also understand that some invitees may not be able to attend. The ceremony is Friday afternoon in Poway, CA. This is a suburb of San Diego. This will be followed by a reception in Ramona, CA. There are many choices of accommodations be it staying close to the beaches and driving that night, staying close to the church or staying close to the reception. Note that Uber drivers are limited in the Ramona and Poway area so please keep that in mind while making your plans. Please reach out with any questions you may have.

Go to the beach! We spend a lot of there free time at the beach any time of year. The sunsets are amazing, the beaches are beautiful, you can explore the tide pools and so much more!! Our favorites include La Jolla Shores &amp; Moonlight Beach.

Disneyland is an hour and a half away from Ramona. It is such a fun day trip to take while you are here. Fun fact Nick is a Disney adult and Emma is turning into one! Nick loves the rides and Emma loves the parades. We both love the food!

While the Del has been the location for many movies, perhaps the most famous was Some Like It Hot (1959), starring Marilyn Monroe, Jack Lemmon and Tony Curtis. The Hotel del Coronado was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1971 and was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1977.
