Fingask Castle is the ancestral home of the Threipland family who have been living here for some 400 years. They have always been a hospitable lot (Bonnie Prince Charlie, and his father stayed here!) and as soon as we first visited we knew it was the perfect place for the Ure wedding. With plenty of space in and outside the castle, we know you will fall in love with it just as we did!

Fingask Cottages are set over 250 acres of the historic gardens and woods of Fingask Castle, enjoying southerly views to the Firth of Tay and the hills of Fife beyond. The half mile long drive curves up through the wooded glen and crosses Fingask stream on a high arched stone bridge overlooking St Peter’s Well in the dell below. Fingask is truly a magical place!

Guests are welcome to use some of the other estate facilities, such as the games room (behind the castle) where there is a full-sized snooker / billiard / Freda table, table tennis & bar football. Our swimming pool is available during the warmer months and a weedy tennis court for a relaxed knockabout game.

Fingask has a range of on-site accomodation, including 2 person sheds and larger cottages. All the cottages at Fingask have central heating and log fires. They are fully furnished and equipped including TV/DVD, bath, shower, electric cooker, microwave, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and a good selection of pots and pans, crockery, cutlery, glasses, toaster, kettle etc. The self catering cottages are family and pet friendly with cots, highchairs and stair gates available on request.
