Highland Park is a great place to go if you want to play some disc golf or sit under the shade of gorgeous trees. If you are lucky, you may also catch the Kokomo Park Band in concert!

If you are looking for a place to walk, Jackson Morrow Park is the best place to go. They have very easy walking paths for those of all ages and abilities!

For our history lovers, this is for you! The Elwood Haynes Museum was the home of inventor Elwood Haynes, who was the first to produce cars commercially as well as invent stainless steel and stellite.

This striking late-Victorian mansion, built in 1891 during Indiana’s gas boom, showcases stunning Queen Anne and Romanesque Revival architecture with ornate woodwork, stained glass, and a grand third-floor ballroom that transports you back to a bygone era. Today it serves as the home of the Howard County Museum, where visitors can explore exhibits on local history and take a self-guided tour through beautifully restored rooms Tuesday through Sunday.
