Sandy Hook – Gateway National Recreation Area
Rent bikes, kayaks, or just enjoy a walk. This is a national park, surrounded by the Bay and the Ocean on either side, with views of the NYC skyline. Expect to see wildlife, including deer and foxes.

Explore the shops and restaurants in downtown Red Bank, NJ - all within walking distance of the venue.
Right across the street is an Italian restaurant, Birravino. A few of the bride and groom's favorite places to get food or a drink: Red Tank Brewing / Dimes Brewing, The Bistro Red Bank (byob), Dublin House, Teak (Asian fusion + nightlife), and Robinson Ale House - the list goes on.
Sea Bright Public Beach
Sea Bright is the start of the Jersey Shore. Head over to check out the public ocean beaches, make reservations at 2nd Jetty (fish fans only) or Woody's Ocean Grille (casual), get ice cream (or Italian Ice, as the NJ locals tend to prefer) and pop into local shops. Feel free to explore the Shore - this is "local summer," when seasonal crowds disperse.

Monmouth County is home to a variety of breweries, including Ross Brewing Company which is walking distance to Jason and Emma's house.
