My invitation did not mention another person, can I still bring a plus one?
Unfortunately we can only host so many individuals at our wedding! If your invitation was not addressed with the name of your significant other or a plus one we please ask that only you attend!
How far is the church from the reception venue?
The church is about a 15 minute drive to the Nawara’s home. When making this drive please DO NOT speed on Army Trail Road. This road is heavily monitored and the speed limit is strictly enforced, we do not want you to start the afternoon with a ticket! Additionally, many people will be making this trip, we encourage carpooling and sharing Ubers when possible!
Will alcohol be served at the wedding?
Since we are providing alcohol we ask that everyone drink responsibly. In doing so please have a designated driver and/or use a ride share of your preference to go home. Ubers are readily available in Saint Charles! If you are still concerned, feel free to leave your keys with the hosts!
What is the dress code?
Although the ceremony is inside, the reception will be outside rain or shine. June 1st in Illinois can mean anything, we recommend checking the weather prior to arriving in Illinois to ensure you are dressed comfortably for the elements! That being said we are hoping for a summer wedding! This means business casual/ semi-formal. The reception will be on grass so we recommend comfortable shoes and keeping high heels to a minimum! Summer dresses, floral prints, and jumpsuits are more than welcome!
