This weekend is a bye-week for the Minnesota Golden Gophers, so you should have an easier time getting around the Twin Cities.
That being said… Iowa @ Illinois is scheduled and kickoff is at 6:30 p.m.. Go Hawks.
Easily accessible from the Twin Cities, the MOA is an easy entertainment spot. There is also an attached hotel for lodging and a hub for the Light Rail is you are wanting to take the train to and from Downtown Minneapolis or St. Paul.
10/9/22 will have a home game vs. the Chicago Bears at noon
The best part about being in the Twin Cities is the amount of lakes and trails available to you. Ben & Emma's most frequented are: Minneapolis Chain of Lakes Regional Park (includes shorelines of Brownie Lake, Cedar Lake, Lake of the Isles, Bde Maka Ska, and Lake Harriet) and Minnehaha Park & Falls. All are very child-friendly, walkable, and bikeable if you want to bring bikes or rent at any of the various NiceRide stations. Many lakes also have kayaks or canoes available to rent. October can still be warm in Minnesota, so we want to give you all the options!
The Minneapolis Sculpture Garden, located right outside of Walker Art Center, is a popular outdoor attraction in the Twin Cities. Specifically popular for the Spoonbridge and Cherry! Also very child-friendly and easily walkable. The Sculpture Garden is just about a mile from the wedding venue.
